Well, that has mostly historical reasons. When people were starting to compete for the fastest DoA times, they started to skip Jadoth at some point to save time and the community accepted that. At some point GWSCR was created where you can post your record runs. Everyone competing for records follows the rules of GWSCR (gwscr.fbgmguild.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=249 ). For a completion of DoA the rules state "All four gates blocking the path to the following area must be unlocked by the completion of the appropriate task. All areas must be completed in the same instance." For city you only have to accept the quest reward to unlock the gate to veil. Of course, it would make more sense if you had to kill Jadoth but if you would change these rules, nowadays records wouldn’t be comparable with previous records anymore.

@@ElFlamzino Yeah, I understand that, but for us this doesn't really make a difference since we skip all other chest as well. We are burning so much money doing this, it's only about getting a fast time, not about profit. Regarding your Underworld comparison: Before Dhuum the UW record was 7 minutes. Since we have Dhuum now you cannot beat this time anymore. But I think at some point a team will try to beat that 7 by doing record attempts where they try to get the fastest time without Dhuum.
