It’s just a 2s lipo mate. Think it’s 50c 5000mah. If you won’t a good speed run car out of it you need to upgrade the tiers and wheels. It’s set up for carpet or indoor use. I’m putting Carlton foams on mine. They have a front and rear set that has the same off set as the rs4. Loads better! Shim up the steering as well get rid a the slop.

Oh mate I’ve only just seen this. Sorry. You prob have one now. Yes don’t go 3s in it straight away. It’s fun though. The shell is week. I’d get a spare for the shelf I did. And the one that gets smashed to bits just patch it up lol. Looks like a stock car mine did.

I have indeed got one now 😊 it's absolutely insane, and I'm not even running lipos yet just the stock Nimh it came with. Shell is half there still after the first run just like I didn't want, BUT it's not impacting how much fun it is. I will defo buy another shell probs go with the blue one. And as you suggest, might just leave it on when it's not screaming about in the dirt and what not. I've had mine out in the wet and it doesn't half bring the dirt with it!

I don’t think I’ve done anything to this. Might have set throttle end point but prob not. Been good out the box. Stones is the crap bit. If it’s understating loads bet it’s a stone lol.

I got it for speed runs. Needs a few tweaks. Defo better servo and bush slop out steering, you will need better wheels and tiers. Foams I looked in to. A think it’s Carlson wheels that do the best sets have the same wheel spacing as originals or you will have to use spacers in the rear because they have moor depth in the rear. Out the box it’s set to race on carpet. You will need to adjust ride bight and tune suspension to get it running nice on road.

Is it stoned stuck ? Or has your servo gone. My deck is about dead sometimes when I turn it on don’t work properly and stutters some times like you say it don’t move. There are a couple of places Aries can get stuck have a good look.

Yea mate. You can turn moor or less any Arrma in to what you won’t to. I still think the Typhon is the best 3s car for having fun any where.

A was going to get the Kraton but all a see is it snapping all the time. A wonted a bmx track basher. Loved taking the jlb there but it always needed work done to it after lol. Prob get a granite next or a vortex the the kraton. So I have all the range short to long. Am half expecting another car to be released with that larger chase as well so holding off a little bit.

Your welcome mate I’ve only had mine for a few days when I got it out of the box the little nut that holds the servo saver down was loose which made it veer off to left when you let off the throttle I fixed that and got it going straight I do have a 3 cell lipo but I wanted to see how fast it was with 7.2v which wasn’t that fast then I tried my Traxxas slash 8.4v battery I was using it I drove it way down a very long wide road so I could see how fast the 8.4v battery made it go but I didn’t get a chance to use the lipo I did the speed run I checked there was no one on the road so I got it way up the other end of the road and there was no one so I started the speed run and as it was about 50 feet away I heard a woman and her son behind me so I quickly looked left for a millisecond and back at the car and it had some how veered of to the right and smashed straight into the curb all I see when I look back at the car was the car about 4 feet in the air and red bodywork flying everywhere I almost fainted the woman and kid must of come from down a side path to watch the car but they came from nowhere I should off hit the brakes but the car was far enough away so I had the quick look I must of some how steered it to the right what broke the body was the wheel when it went into the curb the front wheel was pushed up into the body was ripped the front of the body work right off I was so mad at my self for not hitting the brake but I literally looked to the left for such a short time I really don’t know how it turned the way it did i was lucky though because other than a buckled wheel and the front of the body which had been ripped off the car is fine I drove it after the crash and it went straight and it’s completely Undamaged so I’m just waiting for a new body and wheels to arrive I made sure there was no one there so that was why I looked because they came out of nowhere that just how the hobby go’s I suppose🤷🏼‍♂️

@@imlee5217 sounds like you had fun. A said the body is like egg shell. A was same after first crash a hit a curb. The body blew up lol. A bodged it all together and still use that shell when bashing. I’ve had no problem with mine not going straight that’s strange. In for a treat when you go 3s lol.

Yeah just got to put in lipo mode couldn’t be asked so I just took a 7.2v and a 8.4v when I get my new body I’m going to make sure it still go’s straight which it did even after the crash once I’m definitely sure it gos straight I’ll put it in lipo mode and take it for a rip the chassis is tuff to take a smash like what I had and come out with out a scratch just a scratched buckled wheel and busted body the chassis hasn’t got a scratch on it

How do you put it in lipo mode. Can’t see it anywhere on the manual

I just put it in empty bath tub. Get the shower head in there. Manly getting the wheels and arms done. Then a do the center care not over doing it. Then I blast it all with wd40 and leave it upside down next to a radiator for a hour. The a get tissue paper and dry it all down. Then another light blast of wd40. I only do this after it’s it’s been down the beach. Sand hasn’t hurt mine yet. My senton has a dust cover in it. Could try that out works well on the senton. Sand might get it to the bear housing it’s up to you if you take that out and give it a blow out. In all I’ve had no problems.

It is a lot better than the rs4. Like a different league. The rs4 is an indoor car really. Wr8 is the way to go I recommend getting one to everyone.

It’s all stock. Just a 3s battery. Lipos go straight in. No need to mess with nothing. Set throttle trim as you should do with any new car.

@Bluexvx Rc thanks for the reply buddy! Literally got this setup now, 3s is tight to get in, but worth it! The things ridiculous 😁🤣 what have you set the throttle trim at? As I'm new to it all bud.

@@s.h.1095 hi ye the battery is tight like. Won’t come out though ah lol. You set the throttle with the esc speed controller. Watch a video on how to set hpi throttles. A think and a mean just of top off my head. Don’t try this till you watch a video mate please. !!!!!! Have all the car set up with battery in it. Hold the little button down next to the power button down in the car. The esc will start to flash. At this point you need to go full throttle. Car might beep or light on esc go green. Then full reverse. Same thing a green flas or a beep. Then neutral. Same a beep or green light. Wait 3 seconds then turn car off. A can’t remember what it is on hpi with out looking it up in manual. If you have a new model read the manual it will tell you how to do it. I have a few cars and some esc,s are different. Some need you to press the button on each in put of full throttle and reverse and neutral. Some start neutral full throttle revers. Make shore you have a good look in manual or you tube on how to set maverick strada throttle trim. If you get stuck. Il have a look in manual. It’s easy don’t let this message out you off.

@@s.h.1095 ye if they set it up should be ok. One a the first things you do before running it. If car goes in to throttle and going on its own. Then throttle needs setting agin. Sounds like you good to go. Have you broke the shell yet ! Reinforce it soon as you can. There weak.! I call it the egg shell lol. I put gorilla tape in mine. But I do have 2 shells. One for bashing one for the shelf. There only £25 each.

Am just guessing about 40/45 mate. Might be faster. A need to get a gps. Thanks for watching.

@@s.h.1095 it’s ok bud. It’s all stock. Just the 3s battery. Don’t need to do nothing to it to run on lipo. 3/2s. If running on 3s it advises not to go off road till you hear the pinion gear down a couple a teeth. I’ve not been off road with it on 3s. Yet
