@@picpacto you must’ve found a different mod because the creator overlay is currently updated all the way to 1.20.2. Really got to enjoy the Create mod with what it and its community made addons can do to the game without drastically changing it. Depending on which ones you add at least. It quickly became my favourite Minecraft mod, but they may also be due to enjoying redstone a bit too. I'm even playing a modpack focused to it and I've most recently built a small, narrow gauge train for a small transport journey of items and I am currently building a wide gauge train for player usage of getting around the world and to each of our bases (Different track sizes from Create: Steam n' Rails). It's all super simple when you understand the fundamentals personally. I should really delve into block animations though at some point. (Definetly not a comment to offer assistance with the mod if/where needed, why would I do that?) 11:56

I’ve also had a lot of fun messing with the mod in both creative settings, and survival smp settings. I was actually able to build a train on one season of the smp which was pretty cool

@crimpy_wheel A Create addon that I'm looking forward to is one that adds Railway bogies with pistons. I cannot remember the name off the top of my head but it looks fantastic and I theorise it's why in the latest update of (I think) Create now has several different wheel spans on their bogies.

as a Mine-imator pro i suggest you use the Blockbuster mod insted of Mine-imator so you wont have the lighting probmels. also this video was great

For me, I recommend using “Animated Java” mostly because it’s fully vanilla and just requires blockbench, only problem being that it works under Minecraft’s 20 ticks-speed

3:42 the way I do a dolly zoom is by rendering in replay mod at quake pro at an absurdly high resolution (20464x11512 for 4k) and then just starting scaled by like 400% in editing and having the video scale down as it plays while having the quake pro replay footage be moving toward the subject.

The “create mod” is the one that lets you make those complex contraptions in Minecraft. “Creator overlays” is the mod that gives you replay mod overlays such as rule of thirds

I've been using replay mod, but only made 2 finished videos, usually testing stuff. The main issues I encountered were basically people to act and replaymod being evil with me. Even tho I really like when I can create a video that really sets the imersion in the way I wanted.

Yeah, it definitely took me a long time to fully figure out how to work replay mod. I would recommend messing with some npc mods to also help. I believe that there are some out there that can replicate movement and do all sorts of stuff. Not sure if they work with replay mod because I haven’t tested it out myself, but it’s worth a shot!
