i had a few gimbal concepts, very difficult to sustain stability, but tuning down and clamping the servos/pistons makes it alot better.

Stablization is just one of the functions of a PID controller. Another important function of PID controller is to replicate the input as close as possible. In your example of the arrow, the arrow should point at the same angle as the gyro. So the PID you are using in the example should be tuned to have a faster response.
@sammy_1_1
@sammy_1_1 4 жыл бұрын
So you could say that one of the purposes of a PID is to help reach a value while compensating for any mechanical "lag" (inertia, undesired movement, etc.)...

building Kaneda’s bike. Trying to find a way to stabilize it. No room for counterweights, can’t fit enough RCS blocks (plus RCS is for sissies). I might have to learn to use PIDs. this will be helpful :)

Ownedpilot says to work on d after p, rather than i. i should be the last thing you adjust and should be really small. In fact, I had to put i to zero for pitch on mine because after flying forward a while it notices that you keep pitching forward, and then the PID won't let you pitch forward anymore.

@@sammy_1_1 Yeah. Integration is looking at the past over time, adding up the errors. It says, "oh, I see we've been leaning to the left a lot, so we need to correct for that."

this content is really good for someone with 45 subs! tho maybe instead of music over the build time lapse you could have been talking and saying something like "as you can see here i made the back a bit better and then i made the skis" or some thing like that and maybe also have made the build time lapse a bit faster and instead of the programming time lapse you could have cut to the first test then the next test and so on until it was done, and are you gonna do face reveal at 50 subs? :D

This one is custom made. AMD Ryzen 2700X ASUS ROG X470F mobo (found these for pretty cheap at Micro Center) EVGA 1050ti (hopefully getting a 3070 soon... ) Corsair CX 500 PSU A few hard drives (1tb) 16GB gskill trident z ram (3200mhz) I would say it's a pretty well rounded system. Does pretty decent in games, although it could do better with a better gpu. If you are looking for something that you could game pretty well on, something like this could work pretty well, although you might want to step up the graphics If you want to play on more that min settings in some games. Some advice... Micro center does have some pretty good deals regarding mobo and cpu bundles The AM4 cpu platform is pretty great. A ton of AMD ryzen processors fit in that, and its very upgrade friendly.
