This is great, Infento! I am definitely looking forward to buying these kits in bulk! However, I do have one important suggestion for the Infento engineering team: creating compatibility connectors for the 2.0 system that allow basic parts from the original Infento system (such as aluminum profiles and axles) to work with their new generation counterparts. Allowing integration between the new system and the original system will significantly reduce costs for families who already own the original system and make this new system much more attractive, allowing it to sell better. This is especially important because the 2024 holiday shopping season is coming up fast, and costs are crazy high right now (especially in the US) for even the basic essentials required to live, meaning that many middle-class working families will, unfortunately, have to cope with much lower budgets this Christmas. Since Infento kits often end up as big-ticket Christmas gifts due to how expensive they are, it is most realistic to expect that fewer families will be able to afford these new kits this year due to their even higher expense, as the majority must focus more of their budget on basic essentials and less on toys. The lack of compatibility between the new kits and the original kits will also deter families from purchasing them because they require investment in whole new systems, rather than the ability to leverage existing parts. Creating a whole new system without integration with the original system also runs contrary to one of Infento's main marketing points: a system with parts that can be used to build toys that grow up with children as they age, saving families the financial trouble of having to buy new toys. This selling point cannot be delivered on if we are now throwing away that system and starting fresh with a new system that is significantly more expensive and is not even compatible with the original system. So, while I appreciate Infento's effort in designing and producing this new 2.0 system, I do strongly believe that adding compatibility connectors to the lineup is a crucial step in delivering the reusability promise marketed in the descriptions and Kickstarter campaigns. By allowing families to integrate their existing Infento parts with the newer parts, this new 2.0 system can be marketed as more of an upgrade than a replacement, significantly reducing the cost involved and making the Infento building system much more accessible to families who could never afford it otherwise. Thank you in advance for reading, and I very deeply hope you will take all of the above into consideration.

I'm astonished how that one little drill has enough torque to move that kid at that speed. Amazing!

The left crank in my set the small holes don't have threads so can't screw left pedal on to left crank. I've tried contacting infento Customer service and sent the photos but they don't reply to messages. I'm assuming it's a manufacturing fault how do I get this part replaced. As can't build any model that involves pedals right now.

Hi ! I'm facing a problem. The small toothed wheel ( the one on which the toothed belt is fixed to ) is moving independently from the vehicle's wheel. What am i doing wrong ? How to tighten them together ? I see in your video, the small wheel is also moving independently from the vehicle's wheel but i guess this is because you are spinning the pedals backwards. But to me it hsppens both ways I see in your video the small w

Hi! One Kit offers many different Rides. The Ride you mentioned is called 'Streetwave' and it is already a part of our Smart Kit and then each subsequent Kit that includes the Smart Kit in it. You can see it on our All Kits page: www.infentorides.com/kits/

is there any thought to making a lego style rack and pinion steering set up might be easier to manufacture being glass fiber reinforced plastic
@InfentoChannel6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, we thought about it but we think the way we design it now is a bit less expensive than a rack and pinion set up.

so an injection molded part is dearer than buying all of those metal parts ? don't get me wrong here i like the engineering part of the design coming from fischer technik back in the day (8 yr old) i understand that but really you would only need 2 fasteners on the rack with two molded parts

Built one yesterday with my buddy and my Godson - had a blast! Overwhelmed by the quality of the product. The tolerances and assembly were so well thought out - If i had to build a Space Shuttle, I would want the Infento creators on my Team! Maks is only 2 now but he'll be an engineering genius by 10 :) Lol

This is actually a pretty good idea, but when i think of my childhood i just have to bring up this one problem: If you can so easily assemble these rides, they´re also just as easy to disassemble. How are you going to secure these things, when a lock doesn´t do the trick? At school i got my bike stolen twice ALTHOUGH it was locked o_O If you can just loosen a few screws these rides are gone despite any lock in the world...

Incredible! I had lego and k'nex as a child and I always wished I could build something to ride. This is a great concept that I wish I had as a child. I now build formula 1 cars for a living. building things as a child is inspiring and really opens kids eyes, I really think it's made me who I am today. keep up the good work.
