It’s the only pier to crab from along the Lincoln City to Newport area and it’s crabbed out with so many people there. Could try along the Bay Front at the Sea Lion docks there’s a small pier that people crab from. Oregon could be more inviting by having more fishing/crabbing piers available. Another place is Waldport.

Environmentally wonderful, unless people want to eat meat. Then they are harmful. Wake up world. Clearcutting forests for farming and pesticides are the real environmental disaster.

To the humans, this is a magnificent event that provides wonder and excitement of nature herself. For the insects, it's a terrible apocalypse that will be talked about for generations to come. For the bisons... Just a quick walk.

Recognize the exact spot. We are lucky enough to go to Yellowstone every September. For the last 21 years. Great spot to stay is West Yellowstone as it is right outside the west gate and the road is good there, not as many steep drop offs so more comfortable driving that road at dusk/dark. September is toward the end of the rut for bison but the start of rut for the elk. There is always a huge bull elk gathering his cows along the river road from Madison Jct to the west gate. Be as smart as the animals and keep a safe distance from both bison and elk. This video is great, and I am fascinated but would have been holding my breath in a few spots. Thank God we rent a car up there...and take the insurance LOL enjoy, it is truly a magical place
