I used to play on Xbox Series X & Microsoft Store on PC (as the content was shared between the two). I made the jump to Steam earlier this year to make recording easier for myself. I still play using an Xbox controller though! 😁

Yeah, the flamer is only for the zealot. However, the Psyker has a flame staff what operates pretty much the same (with different blessings). 😁

I think it’s due to the Psyker having a higher skill ceiling with the melee weapons than other classes. Early on, without the benefit of the talents and low hp, easy to make mistakes are costly. It’s definitely a blast once you get to grips with it! 😁

@TheWarhammies Oh for sure! It's really difficult to survive early, but I got used to using magick as an enhancer and buffer before enemies get into melee range. I'll kill or weaken as many as possible and then slice and dice. That's just the way I've played since day one. I figured that was the standard 🤣

It was the first thing I did. LOL. I was never a fan of gun psyker but this balances out the build and I'm loving it.

@J.B.1982 Yeah I refuse to be a gun Psyker as well. I don't wanna compete for ammo and the staves are funner to use anyway. The Strike staff is my favorite staff. Already maxed it out

Psyker definitely riskier in melee comparatively but with combat blade, dueling swords, and force swords being so fun you just gotta have a melee build or two. I think the new force greatsword is arguable the best all around weapon in the game. 👨‍🍳 💋

I agree wildfire could do with a bit of a buff! It also doesn’t help that currently the sword’s charged sweep attack does not apply soulblaze on a critical. I do hope you enjoyed the video though. 😁

Glad to hear it, let me know how the run goes! 😁 Havoc is an interesting mode, especially as I solo queue. I think it will end up with only a few select play styles per class just due to the skewed difficulty but it’s very satisfying to pass a mission. Currently Rank 30 and happy with that.

From a meta perspective, probably! I always like to try new weapons with my builds to give them different play styles. I always support making changes with the build to suit your own play style! 😁

I’m not the biggest fan of brain burst compared to the other blitz, it needs a buff (area of effect would be nice). Psyker has a steep learning curve and the later builds in this video are good in between for using the powers and regular weapons. Psyker also struggles while levelling up as the later nodes (such as kinetic deflection) are powerful and change how you can play. If you want to feel powerful while blasting away with a staff, check out the warp rider build on my channel which doesn’t feature in this video. 😁

Don’t worry, It’s still there! They had a reshuffle, it’s now at the very top of the tree as the first right hand node. 😁

@@TheWarhammies I adjusted a bit for survivability (hopefully it wont change much tomorrow with the new HAVOC patch). I got rid of Warp battery and channeled force since i don't utilize them much. Acquired: One with the warp & Endurance on scriers gaze. Gives us a whopping extra +58%ish damage reduction with the +5% toughness damage reduction node at full peril !!!

I don’t believe so. However, the new push talent at the bottom of the middle tree is very powerful at clearing space, so combined with the shout of loyal protector you can stop the enemies attacking for some time! 😁

@@TheWarhammies I maxed everything out and got the same loadout. the only problem is how long it takes to reload which may cause me to lose health/take mess ups I had to learn that once it was out, automatically switch to melee till it's safe to reload cause even with the perk for reload it still takes awhile to reload but other than that very solid. I got question I wonder what difficulty you play on when making these vids cause I've been stuck on malice and want to move onto damnation.

Technically, yes! Although, the resource cost is quite substantial and not normally worth it in the long run. Once you hit max level, the grey weapons in the store should sit between 340-380 power level and will be cheaper to upgrade when you get a roll you’re happy with. 😁

Doing a bit of research, it doesn’t apply to ranged damage. (which is a shame!) However, it’s useful on the build when you’re dealing with bigger targets and out of ammo! 😁
