I have a lyman trade rifle 54cal. My question is can you get a 50cal barrel (lyman trade rifle) will it fit in my 54cal receiver.

If the cases have been stored and are very stained , I give them a quick swish of citric acid this cleans off the bad shit then dry , tumble after. Citric mixed mild is not hard on brass like other acids , Ive found.

It's literally amazing that even after comments on the video are posted, the manufacturer of this product doesn't get the directions correct for producing finely polished rock. Plastic media? Are you kidding me? Try using ceramic media and be sure to fill the bowl, you will get better results. Also, Lyman, how about additionally correcting your instructions that come with the kit to instruct on how to connect the threaded rod to the base of the unit properly. It's not already attached as your instructions suggest. Oh, and provide a rubber washer for securing the bowl to the rod, as without one, leakage occurs at that point and makes a mess of the base.

Lyman, you guys make some really and truly great products. i've got so many and when i need/want an accessory, upgrade or the "shaddup and take mah munneh!!!" item, i look to your site first. but with this redesign of the grip...i hate to say it kinda falls short. the grip's beaver tail needs to be thinned down to around 1/8" to 1/4" thickness to afford the user a higher purchase of engagement. the grip's angle needs to be somewhere around 12.5 degrees. i figure 13 on the high side and 12 on the low just due to the way the human wrist articulates when using the AR platform whether the user is wearing a t-shirt, jacket/windbreaker or winter coat or body armor. the grippy-grip texture is just fine and so are the finger "nubs". thank you for reviewing my comment and i meant it that before i go to brownells, midwayUSA or anywhere else i go to you site first. p.s. Pachmayr needs to bring back the Dominator...y'all know what i mean. 10", 12" and 14" barrels

Great video, Thank you! The instructions that came with it are crap. Even the video doesn't tell us that the thicker washers are the spacers, but I figured it out. I've had one of these traps back in the 90s and they're GREAT!

Do yourself a favor and by a lortone barrel tumbler. None of the stones depicted in this ad were used to make the jewelry they place next to tumbled stones. Vibratory tumblers work best dry tumbling metal.

barrels are good for stage 1; stages 2,3,4 are best done in a vibratory tumbler.

Does anyone know a way to stop this tumbler from blowing dry polish out of the bowl? I'm polishing with corn cob media and very expensive dry polish. After a couple of hours I have dry polish dust all around the tumbler bowl and base. I have it on very tight too. I worry if I was doing a wet polish there could be water getting out as well. Anyone know of a rubber seal or anything that could help keep everything in the tumbler?

Why do they fall short of the top of the grip frame by so much, the #02478 Diamond Pro grip on the S&W 442/642? And many other J-frame Smiths. I see so many install videos with about an inch or so of exposed backstrap and clearly a person would not be able to achieve a high grip on the revolver. That's why my Pachmayrs have never been installed onto my 642, but I did install Hogue Tamer #60020 grips and they are excellent. I really want to use the Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips, but the design fit is seriously lacking in my opinion.

I hope so but would it be great if the diamond pro grips were made of polymer instead of the useless rubber grip that other companies keep making? Seriously they don't work at all!

My wife got one of these after witnessing me having to hand load flat backs on a progressive. It is such a simple solution, yet has been super valuable. The only issue I have is with the press not having enough spots to add this in between my other dies.

Very disappointing; I'm considering returning mine. You have to hold it at exactly the right angle or the primers fall out of the case and the ram will not press the primer into the hole. Also, it does not seat the primers deep enough unless you apply considerable force/grip strength. The tray also does not encourage the primers to align themselves right way up. It provides better tactile feedback than my Hornday on-press primim system, but still, very disappointing.

That ultrasonic machine looks like the one from Harbor freight. I use $70 Vevor 3L ultrasonic cleaner, water/dawn/dishwasher magic, and a free dehydrator from craigslist. Results are great (and cheap!). Plus I can clean large parts (carburetors, etc) and make jerky.

Your tumbler has one problem. The rib on the side that contacts the rollers should be molded wider because many calibers of handgun brass like 45acp and several others get jammed inside that rib and they don't tumble along with the rest of the brass inside.
