I would have used a large 1 foot or so square for that section, then have done the rest with the thinner tape.

Hi Don, when doing a joint.......overlap both side and cut both at the same time,,,,,,,you'll have a perfect joint with no gap!

Search on Amazon for “chrome delete vinyl tape” and it should pop up. If you are asking about the yellow tape, any masking tape will work
