This is amazing stuff! So much attention is given to American radio broadcasts from the war, that I don’t think amazing finds like this get the attention they should and of course the BBC was terrible about just getting rid of their archives and taping over them or destroying discs. I love the fact that this is here.

When he finished painting, he realised that something was missing, and that something was the middle of the landscape that was behind the painting of the painting.

Corsica In a corner of the world There's a sparkle of tenderness Inside my heart, majestic It fills you with purity Jewel of wonders don't look for similars you won't find another one alike It's unique, alone and dear. Corsica. It had always waken up so much desire This piece of rock in the middle of the sea Shining treasure Sacred as an altar. Calm, sweet like a lamb Generous and welcoming It arises, it revolts If we despise its people. Corsica.

Brilliant and sublime mix of music and visuals. By the bye, I sang harmonies with John on his album Well Kept Secret. His singing on that album is soul personified. Johnny Too Bad was bloody good.

Wow! Looked you up, - and thats awesome! To just have met him woulda been cool, but you got to work with him, sing with him! Leave a lasting imprint - with john. - thats something, Lee. I would have loved to have met him when he was younger, like 1969-1978. But, i'm 22 years old, so i'd need a timemachine

@@samclarkelccm629 Thanks, Sam, can't do anything about the time machine. Chuffed that you looked me up. Have my own KZbin channel, which has a song that John really liked, called "I Just Can't Go On". Best Wishes, Lee.

Read the "Romany of the BBC" series of books, he explains all about nature, and the people he meets, as he travels around. I would have loved to have heard his radio broadcasts, but the books will have to do.
@markwflint73833 жыл бұрын
At the age of 14 I bought my first two Romany books. I now have every one and at the age of 70 I still read them. I also have a copy of his last radio broadcast which I bought on Amazon. You might like to read my own E book "From Nappies to Long Trousers" £1.99 on Amazon. You can read the first couple of chapters and the five star reviews it has received for free. Stay safe.

This is a rare genetic blood disorder call Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) or Osler-Weber-Rendu. I have HHT and I bleed from random areas as well as my GI track. HHT affects 1 in 1000 families and 80% of these families don't know they have it. I bleed anywhere: nose, lips, gums, tongue, ears, eyes, and skin.
