@@freetickeys I'm glad you brought up Tri-State because I left that group a long time ago. For many of the reasons you're stating. I hate Nick their leader and the general attitude of that entire group. Even though this hike was "off-trail" we both know the paths to these areas are as used as any state park trail. But I appreciate your concern and input. Ask anyone still in TSHG about me. I'm sure they'll talk about the asshole who finally called them out on their anti-LNT bullshit.

Great climb, theres a navigation beacon on the mountain just across. As my wife and i were hiking up, it started with a rumble then turned into a roar, i honestly first thought we were caught in a landslide. Then whoosh, streakin over head less than 500ft, 2 fighter jets flashed over head so fast i couldnt even identify them. Yeah, i love nature, but man ...i wont forget that hike

MEDIA REQUEST: Permission to use footage for Governor Eric Holcomb Hello! My name is Caitlyn, and I work at INNOVATIVE-a multimedia marketing agency based in Indianapolis. We’re partnering with Governor Eric Holcomb on a series of short, immersive videos to showcase the quality of life here in Indiana. I am reaching out to request permission to use a few seconds from your THIS video in one of the Governor's videos about white water rafting at East Race Waterway. The final videos may be used on a variety of digital platforms (social media/websites/etc.), as well as in-person meetings and presentations. They will NOT be used for any commercial purposes or anything political in nature. Additionally, we will credit you on screen during the time that the footage is used. Can you please let me know if we have permission? Thank you!

Yo, beautiful editing, but I would try less music, and more sound from climbing the cave. I love the adventure twins for example. Keep it up
@idhikethat Жыл бұрын
I appreciate it! Some videos have more talking than others. It all really depends. The Adventure Twins is a sore subject in the caving community though. They trespass in a lot of their videos and are creating access issues for the rest of us.

There is some water source??
@idhikethat Жыл бұрын
No, not really. It's pretty dry throughout most of the trail. I'd recommend caching water at one of the road crossings.
@myronlarimer1943 Жыл бұрын
The only reliable water source would be at the State Park campground. All the creek beds are dry beds. Did a 3-day, 2-night backpacking trip in early October. Great trail. Surprisingly rugged and challenging for Indiana. Lots of ups and downs. We cached water at a road crossing and and then used water resources at the state park campground.

Looked like it would be a cool video if you didn't make it suck by thinking viewers came to it to see what kid of shitty music you would play for us. BELIEVE me, there's so many different kinds of music for a reason and also that NOBODY clicks on your video about caving to listen to (that fucked up noise you call) music. There's music videos for that, skip it, you're not adding anything positive.
