Просто варвар! После таких видео начинается повальное уничтожение ноутбуков! И уже не вернёшь в заводское состояние! Уберите это видео, не наносите вред для других мастеров ноутбуков! Эту работу можно сделать практически как на заводе, и занимает это в среднем час!

Honest question: I have the same issue with my laptop, tha plate below the keyboard is not screwed, it is fixed in place by melted plastic. I don't see any other way to remove it. I have my laptop completely dissasembled right now. It's a designing problem, Asus should have been used screws instead of this mess. Probably I'm gonna have to do the same with my brand new laptop because white letters printed over aluminum without backlight are very difficult to see, another design flaw. It was hard to find the right part, and find the connector for the backlit leds. Fortunately, my motherboard has it, since it's common for other Asus laptops. It's the X512FF (mine). In spanish. If you can help me with a less destructive method, I will really appreciate your help, otherwise I'm gonna risk this procedure, since I'm stuck before the removal of the keyboard plate. Regards.
