Ive just bought a property in a small village around the pavlikeni area. Its ready to live in but there is a ln extension that needs completing and a few cracks here and there that needs fixing. Im sooo nervous about it all for some reason 😅 i wont be living there as i have responsibilities back home so just struggling to figure out how i will be managing it. Not asking for anything here besides a few words of encouragement 🥰

To say that's, give or take 1:2 exchange from pounds to Lev. You're looking at 250k Lev's (rounding up) which could easily be ten years with a nice yearly budget for renovations, and living. It would be a comfortable lifestyle depending on your preferences and choices

Is it possible to get a job in the uk to work online , say answering emails, or chat bot queries but be stationed in Bulgaria? Or won't English companies allow it? Or could you travel to the uk for 3 ir 4 months , work in construction and head back for another 8 months?
@MarkandAnishaАй бұрын
I think it's definitely possible and it's something similar to what I'm considering setting up in order to have a more guaranteed steady income for when we return permanently. It all depends on the company but there are definitely opportunities there for sure!!

My wife and I moved to Bulgaria from the US in the summer of 2021 and bought a house in the village of Goren Chiflik in the Varna region. We have great neighbors and a lovely home with a large garden, what else could you ask for? If you decide to move to a different region, you would certainly be welcome here!

Hello. Congratulations for your son. When you planning to go back to Bulgaria? I enjoyed to see you there.... There is another British family with 2 little kids living on your region, in village close to Popovo. They have got a chanel as well. I think it was Phoenix, Phoenix family from north Yorkshire.... Regards from Lincoln where I live from years,but Bulgaria is my country of origin.😊

Firstly thanks for watching our videos and we're glad you enjoyed them. We do hope to return and live out there permanently again but it will be a few years until this is feasible unfortunately. We have spoken to Laura and Anthony many times, they are great to watch and are very down to earth family ☺️

You need generator for the electricity. So, you can switch on where need.... Wi-Fi accelerator in the house for the death spots... For the limescale you can put limescale filters on the main pipe.... Regards from the UK, from Bulgarian living already 22 years in Lincoln. But I dreaming my lovely Bulgaria when I visit each year. But I definitely will came back one day.

How much is car insurance and tax is it expensive
@MarkandAnisha2 ай бұрын
All depends on the vehicle. At the time of this video, we didn't drive or have that as an outgoing so can't really help to be honest. Maybe in the range of 500 Lev for the year would probably suffice.
@ladykatewarrior2 ай бұрын
@@MarkandAnisha That's brilliant thankyou 🙂
@KskVisteon2 ай бұрын
Yes, about 500lv per year should suffice for an old car, below 100hp. Mandatory 3rd party liability insurance is about 360-400lv, tax for an old and unpowerful vehicle is about 20-40lv, and MOT (annual technical inspection) is 90lv these days (it skyrocketed lately for some legislation reasons).

It is wonderful to see you 3 are trogeter and doing fun stuf outside instead both working and daycare in a cashless society spending most time inside concrete boxes. The neat-freak in me, thought you where going to wipe the back of the sign to clean it. Haha. Love the channel.

I really admire the courage you’ve had to do this. I’ve spent years looking at houses in Bulgaria, always thought it would be impossible until I came across your channel and few others. We run an estate agency in the uk, working 7 days a week 12 hours a day and it’s exhausting for very little reward. Funnily enough My brother in law is the ceo of Strikex which is a crypto project, he has investment with Peter cruddas of CMC. So we’re hoping our coins will blow up one day and we can live wherever we want and not have to work. Thanks for giving me some inspiration!

Omg, you phonies measure a new low in clickbaiting. You know what a poverty line is? You know what the value for Bulgaria is? 323€ *per person*, in 2023. That's when you literally barely survive month to month. But then there's you, the anti-consumerist couple, that has somehow splashed more on their bloody Tesla than they have spent buying and finishing that house, trying to convince the world it is not only doable, but a breeze. Well, 600 000 Bulgarians who live below the poverty line, that in case someone has missed it, is >2 times what you say you live on *as a couple*, beg to differ. While starving and freezing that is. But I guess you are all right, they are just faking it for drama.

Completely understand the reasons why you decided to have baby in the uk, it's much easier when you are in your home country and native tongue. We had Max in the uk 2 years ago for the same reasons as I also only received very basic care here. Gynae was lovely but only offered a very basic scan every month no other testing etc, which I didn't mind but I'd imagine if it's your first pregnancy this can be quite daunting. We would of had to travel a lot further for all the care which we didn't want to do. You guys made the right decision :) are you guys heading back to bg soon?
@MarkandAnisha2 ай бұрын
Sounds like a very similar situation to how we had it, thanks for sharing your experience with us, its nice to know we aren't the only ones who felt a little lost with the health care system. We're hoping to visit back and forth until we have an established passive income stream to live out there permanently again 🙂
