Stoking the Paranoia Machine! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero evidence for Exodus and Moses and the ancient Hebrews stole Satan from the Greek myth of Hades in 950 BCE. Christian archeologists graduate from Christian colleges and then travel to Egypt to find evidence of the Great Hebrew Migration of 3500 years ago and they all come back empty-handed. Please read the fine print on your spiritual plane ticket before the 2000th Easter in 2033. Then let's chat! Pleased to meet you!

I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending any acknowledgment as to the reality of any particular god until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the reality of any god._* And here is why I currently hold to such a position. Below are 10 facts I must consider when evaluating the claim made by certain theists that some god exists in reality. To be clear, these are not premises for any argument concluding there to be no gods. These are simply facts I must take into account when evaluating such a claim. 1. I personally have never observed a god. 2. I have never encountered any person who has claimed to have observed a god. 3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity. 4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument that also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists in reality. 5. Of the many logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the reality of a god(s), I have found all to contain either logical fallacies or false or unsubstantiated premises. 6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon. 7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._ 8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event. 9. Every phenomenon that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity. 10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction or do not present as falsifiable. ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the reality of any god. I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgment until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstantiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._* I welcome any cordial response. Peace.

Theo, I am sorry, I don't regularly check the comments on these videos. I am not going to defend any god that may be purported. I also will not defend every view of God. My only defense of God is the God of the Bible. That God is described in the Bible as being the one who created everything that exists. That includes planets, stars, humans, animals, plants, etc. He also created the laws that regulate everything in the universe. All the laws of nature and mathematics, he also created time. As the creator of these things he necessarily must be outside of these. He is not bound or restricted by time. I know that books could be, and have been, written on these subjects. So I am not pretending that this is exhaustive, I just wanted to lay a little groundwork for my position. Based upon that I wonder how you expect that you would somehow casually meet a "god". How do you expect to recognize when you do meet a god? Though God has, in the past, intervened in the created world, he does not regularly do so. He has created the world, and the laws that govern it, to largely continue according to design. I do not want this response to be super long as I don't know how interested you are in actually hearing this side. I also would be interested to hear if you actually listened to the message, or are simply responding off of the title. Pastor Devon Dosson

Thank you Pastor for the word today. Certainly a more indepth understanding of what the Lord is doing in Elijah and through him. My question would be, what does it look like to trust God and still use wisdom and discernment? For example I trust the Lord whole heartedly to the best I can however, there are times when I seek wisdom and discernment in situations as to not get involved in something I should'nt. After prayer, then I turn to scripture for what the Lord says regarding that situation, yet it seems I may have some confusion or chaos.

I guess I would need to know more information, however I would say that if you are looking for wisdom as to whether to get involved with something, scripture is the very best guide. If it is sin, or sinful then the answer is always no. If on the other hand you are thinking of moving or changing jobs or something like that you simply have to pray and ask the Lord for some kind of tangible direction. That might be through the Word, or some circumstance that directs you. Also, you must ask the Lord to give you complete peace about whatever you are asking. If the Holy Spirit will not give you peace, then you can assume that He is not in it. Pr. Devon

@@fbclodgegrass7237 thank you so much for your response. The situation involves a mission that is being started by a person I do not know too well but have been in prayer and searching to know more about this person. I do not want to get caught up in the NAR movement or any of the name it and claim it type of groups. I found out about this mission for a young lady that I have sense come to know that she is a "spiritual" person who using what works for her from all religions. Now the word of God clearly states do not be unequally yoked. So if I partner to help the mission through her would I be unequally yoked? I know this is certain in marriage and friendships. Does your fellowship support he Faith, Hope and Love mission there in Lodge Grass?

The problem is those that preach the gospel light. A soft version of the true gospel and people tend to the way of least resistance. A big problem today.
