I'm not sure if you mentioned it, if you did-- I missed it, but it would be really great if you can say what Bible translation you're reading from before reading. Also-- really loved the way you lay out your sermon! We need more Churches that teach verse by verse. That way there's no way that they can shimmy around the verses that make them uncomfortable.

I'm watching this 3 years after the sermon was preached and man is it hitting on me. My heart has been really hurt by family, who do not serve our God and because they don't, their words actions and the lack there of have crushed me. I don't see any good coming from this at all. This sermon it the nail on the head and I thank you for preaching on this.

I appreciate the overview on God's willingness to help us achieve "zoe" (sp?). It's a beautiful though about His heart and posture towards us. I'm not thrilled about a "crime crackdown" that was "due to the riots" especially when they primarily targeted minorities and ironically the law used to enact this over policing was named after a minority child tragically killed but never acknloweleges the many people like Breonna Taylor that cops shot dead. And when you said "THAT's worth a protest" it felt like you were saying the protest of the violence against George Floyd wasn't beacuse you were juxtaposing it with that story. I know you might not be saying that, but I want you to know that's how it presents to certain hearers.
