I don’t know how I feel about the comment… Oregon is going to be upping its competition this year, since the PAC 12 is so hard to get through, since everyone plays so different. Whereas, in the Big Ten, everyone plays pretty similar… And from a roster building standpoint… It’s much easier to beat conference opponents when they all recruit for a similar style. That’s why the Big10 and sec is so top heavy with the same teams. They don’t have enough variation in those two leagues to have slip ups like in the pac12. So I actually believe that Oregon is going to have an easier time in the Big Ten… Since we are more built to play Big Ten football… Then to play against the random air raid offense of Washington state, or Arizona states or Arizona In the desert…which was always a difficult places to play for some reason for teams. Unfortunately… Because the recruiting is so difficult in the west… With far less people, teams have to be more creative with slightly smaller players… there are sometimes more athletic… and have a lot more to prove. But Oregon doesn’t have to worry about that anymore… Except for the occasional game, where Oregon State sneaks up on the ducks.

10-3 his first year as a head coach at any school. 12-2 with a conference title appearance and a NY6 bowl win in his second year compounded by the best recruiting year in the 100+ year history of the program. In his SECOND YEAR! Even if Lanning doesn't get the natty this year, which I'm confident he will, he's 38 years old! He has the potential to have the longevity of Rich Brooks or Mike Bellotti with the on field success of both of them, Chip, Helfrich, and Cristobal combined. Don't be surprised if ten years from now Oregon is a new dynasty and Lanning's name is being compared to, or even surpassing, the likes of Kirby Smart.

Huskies lost 21 of 22 starters. Jedd Fisch is a solid coach but you don't pull off that kind of rebuild overnight. Even at Arizona he did leave with a 10-3 record but he also went 1-11 his first year there and only 5-7 the year after. The Fuskies are about to be put back in their place and I can see another 12 win streak in Oregon's future with Lanning's juggernaut rolling.

The Ducks will beat Ohio State in 2024. Not worried about Wisconsin. It gets cold in Eugene. Cold and wet, cold and wet snow, or ice. I'd rather play in snow in Wisconsin than 37 and hard rain in Eugene.

Buckeyes detest poor outdoor conditions. They will cry about it if the weather is bad.
@stevemak8620Ай бұрын
@@1st_LONG_CFB There is a hard shift in the weather in Eugene around about mid to late October, so just missing OSU. It's likely to be beautiful blue skies and 60 degrees or so when OSU arrives in Eugene. However, it just might be rainy, cold, and miserable. The rainiest, nastiest game I ever attended was a Duck game versus Cal at Autzen in late September in 2013. (Epic rain. Look that one up on KZbin) You never know. Sometimes seasonal weather arrives early. Either way, I predict fun.
@cacogenicist28 күн бұрын
@@1st_LONG_CFB- It could easily be 78F, not a cloud in the sky, and crispy dry, that time of year in Eugene. Would be different if it were in November, but a lot of times the Willamette Valley hasn't really had any rain yet in early and mid October. Summer is the dry season west of the Rockies, and that can persist into October. Worst case, it's like 50F and raining -- well, maybe not worst case, but worse weather than that is somewhat improbable.

As an Ole Miss fan, I hate to see Judkins go, but they were overpaying him, and he kept wanting more. They took the saved NIL and upgraded at OL. There's still a potential hole at RB, since Diggs isn't likely until mid October to early November. Their offense was hurt by lack of depth last year. It may or may not have been shored up, but they lost 2 OL and added 4 through the portal. They lost 1 top WR, added 1 through the portal and 2 JUCO. They didn't lose a TE and added 1 through the portal. Of the 4 starters leaving, they upgraded at 3 of the spots. They played close games against Auburn, Miss St, and Arkansas, but were they ever in danger of losing? They also beat LSU and Penn State.

Nice video. Good job. Two points: First, It's true - Ole Miss did not use the tight ends much throughout the season, because our two best - Prieskorn and Hudson Wolfe were both injured. It wasn't until the very end of the season that Prieskorn was truly healthy. Wolfe had serious back injuries coming out of high school. Took two years to heal that. Then when he came back he broke his collarbone on his very first catch - and a fantastic catch it was. 2nd point: Ole Miss was in a New Years 6 bowl game just two years ago. Keep up the good work and your channel will grow.
