My partner is an ISTJ and I am an INTP. He can be annoying because he is so sure he is right. That means he’s being practical. What’s the fun of that? But he keeps me grounded and focused on what may actually work best! I absolutely adore him, and he finds me fascinating and funny.

The easiest way? Stop trying to live for Te goals. It means nothing to you. Instead, live for Ti l-Ne goals. What do you want to learn? What is an inspiring possibility? More! More! If you fill your life with these, you will quickly find you want to do way more things than you ever can have time for. Result: 1. You will be inspired to schedule and organize your day so you can do more of what you love. 2. You will never procrastinate. Because you are only doing what you love. Stop letting the Te people determine the value of your actions. Admire the Ti-Ne of your actions. It begins with straight-up abandoning the Te demands around you. Every Te question they ask? Simply say, I don’t know. And fill your life with Ti-Ne. This will fill you with so much energy and you will do so much, that Te people won’t be able to say anything anymore. You just become a weird, accomplished person who doesn’t do it their way at all.

This made me laugh, because I don't know how many times as an INFJ heard ISTJs say to me, "That's not realistic" or "We need to look at the facts." Another thing I've recently learned about INFJs is that we're sapiosexual. This is why we find ISTJs hot! LOL When I've looked up our "compatibility," they consider this union very low, but I believe that they haven't taken into consideration that values are one of the most important requirements for a long-lasting relationship, and INFJ and ISTJ have very similar values. Plus, the honesty and integrity of an ISTJ is endearing to an INFJ who must have trust and stability to feel comfortable and settle down. In addition, there is so much "staying power" in this dynamic. I believe INFJs bring excitement to an ISTJ's life through our emotional side, and ISTJs bring stability and security to an INFJ's life. It's a beautiful union, but also a frustrating one. 😁

@sodapopcowboy862011 күн бұрын
Hello, I am an ENFJ who is attracted to the ISFJ type. I have spent a long time on this specific question. I say having maturity, patience, and understanding in the relationship it will work out great. I have learned that MBTI is a great tool, but it should not be the definitive deciding factor. You can be matched with your Golden Pair and have it not work out anyway. There are multiple facets to people and factors of attraction, love, experiences, and beliefs that may bring different people together in a beautiful relationship. I highly recommend studying the strengths and weaknesses of both types and how they think. One should focus on their significant other first and use MBTI as a tool. I am open to sharing my thoughts if you have any questions.

Tell him you like him, but don't be forceful. I had a girl kiss me after a date. I didn't know her to kiss her. But I liked it. I liked holding her hand too. Go slow and have fun. When we get comfortable with you, we will tear off your clothes. Tell us what you want and you will get it. I won't tell you what I'd do to you, just imagine everything.

I suspect that the INFJ cognitive profile was quite common in the distant past, among hunter-gatherers. When social dominance hierarchies were much more nuanced. No inherited titles. You owned only what you could carry. Connections were made through campfire stories and shared experiences in an environment that demanded keen intuition. I recommend the book Shaman by Kim Stanley Robinson. Its characters exude INFJness.

I value honesty. I can appreciate anyone (regardless of personality type) who is honest. I told my children, 'Be honest with me and I will be fair and just when discipline is required.' I am a somewhat serious and studious person , but as my family will attest, I have a fun side too. One birthday, we discovered that various party blowers/horns made distinctly different sounds. Some higher pitch, others low. So we worked out how to 'play' a part of 'My heart will go on' by Celine Dion...it is now my ring tone. Whenever my kids call me, I get a smile and a laugh every time 🙂

Okay, so, according to the "Boo" app, apparently I am a "Realist/ISTJ". I'm not a neat freak or a germaphobe, but I do know where I want my things put. Although I care about proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling, I only have a high school education, and my grades weren't exemplary. Two of my biggest triggers are being made to feel responsible for things that are out of my control and things that I do/did not know and can no longer do anything about. I am merciless with myself when I make mistakes.

"It is what it is!" If you make that statement in my presence I will either confront you immediately and directly, or, shun you for life to eliminate the possibility of having to hear you utter it again. Depends on the relationship. My introvert takes a back seat when I hear that resigned, defeatist, reluctance to take any action to improve the situation.

I'm an INTP in the Messianic Movement with heavy Wesleyan/Lutheran views. INTPs are the most despised Christians in the church by far (in my experience at least)...
