While Fight Club had the most impact on me and is officially my ravorite movie, this may be my favorite one to watch. It's insanely good and I don't know why people hate on it.

Alan Moore is so knowledgeable on pop culture characters. While Ozymandias is ostensibly based on Charlton character, Peter Thunderbolt, he's really more like an amoral or evil Doc Savage, i.e., a scientific genius and public figure who has trained himself to perform at virtually superhuman levels and who is sort of emotionally controlled and detached at all times. Moore was working on a project that would have used Doc Savage as a character (along with fellow pulp magazine hero, the Shadow) when Moore had his falling out with DC Comics.

What version of the movie is this from? Definitly extended from the thetrical release.

It appears that the Comedian gave Ozymandias the idea of his eventual plan. Very sad, but true. Significant change comes after a great tragedy. And so Ozymandias did what he had to do to force humanity's hand to peace.

Ozymandias took ages to draw that map. That is why he took out the Comedian personally.

And now he’s the guy who makes decisions about global warfare by starlink🤣🤣humanity is really at the point of a reset, we became gods on a tech level and still angry kindergartners on a moral scale😅godspeed gonna be swift at least, lets quote Alan Moore here: “You know, mankind's been trying to kill each other off since the beginning of time; now, we finally have the power to finish the job. Ain't nothing gonna matter once those nukes start flying; we'll all be dust. [sets fire to a map of the United States.] And Ozymandias here will be the smartest man on the cinder.”

This scene was so epic, Dr Manhattan was so hurt when he killed him you can tell he wanted to cry, because he knew rorschach was right, but humanity was so primitive and not ready to evolve that this was the best way to start peace!!! So sad it had to be built on LIES!!! THIS MOVIE WAS SO UNDERRATED AND TO ME AS GOOD AS AVENGERS AND JUSTICE LEAUGE, BECAUSE ITS THOUGHT PROVOKING!!!

FACT: "Nukes" do not exist. For you "fact checkers", show me, us, we, everyone any proof that a "chain reaction" causing an explosion has ever been demonstrated. The physics professors and theoretical physicists at CERN are still chasing that theory as we speak. That's what their little experiment in Switzerland is ultimately trying to catch up to... the lies that such a weapon exists. Please don''t sigh in relief though, as they DO have a weapon, that is more powerful, more accurate, and can destroy any country's standing army in minutes... IN MINUTES. The weapon's coverage overlaps all regions of "Earth". If they want to kill you, all they need to know is where you are, and you're toast.
