@@alexanderll Mine was black, and I totally remember the rear windows going down at that angle! Before it was my first car, it was actually my grandmother’s daily, so as a kid I’d be back there. I remember wondering why the window switches back there weren’t silver like the ones up front, haha… but those were actually the door locks, if I remember correctly. Sorry to hear about yours. I had to sell mine years ago, but last I checked, the VIN is still registered in a neighboring state, so I hope she’s doing well over there.

I was wondering about that, as i seen differences between that one and my 2008 300C. Thank you for the info. My brother just gifted mine to me a couple months ago. . He was 2nd owner, and he had it for a while but didn't drive it much. He asked if i wanted it. ...f##k yeah. Very, very clean, and mechanically sound. 119,000mi. I don't know the value to list on insurance. I said $5,000 but feel that's too low if it comes down to replacement. Can i please ask what you paid or what you've seen out there? I wish there were more videos of this car because i am so frustrated trying to find out what my car has regarding options. Like, don't all the 8cyl, 5.7L come with MDS? ACC? It's kind of hard to be driving while also trying to figure out how/if these functions are available. Example: i read that the engine will automatically switch to the 4cyl function (MDS) if a higher speed is maintained. I don't think mine has. And what is the black box on windshield behind mirror? I've heard it could be one of several things. Sorry for rambling.

​@saltpepperketchup7082 well... there are sights available to look up the build sheet using your VIN... I did for my 09' 300C Heritage Edition and found out a bunch of info on it. It might be in your best interest to do that. It will answer all of your questions... I hope this helps... Cap'n Dan

@@CapnDanTreasures Yeah. I tried that. For a limited edition model its probably more specific. Maybe i haven't found the right sight. I just get fustrated because, for example, in the fat users manual i see way too often the term "if equipped ". Those words haunt my dreams now. Lol. I want a book that has my equipped functions. But i didn't know the term "build sheet". I will start a new search. Thank you

I wouldn’t recommend it as a daily especially for a student for multiple reasons but the main ones are the cost of maintenance and lack of reliability. When they run they run great but almost everything is ran by a computer so whenever it breaks you MUST take it to the dealership because they have a special computer only they have that can fix the issues. I’ve owned a couple Mercedes and I’m daily driving a Porsche cayenne S rn but after this one I’m done with luxury vehicles. Keep your head down n act broke no matter how much money you got and keep hustling. Then you’ll be able to have cars like this as dailys and not care about the cost of repairs but the key is to have the money not be broke maintaining a rich image.

If you want a good daily for a student get the W211 E-class (280,300, or 350) the V6’s are more reliable and will cost you less to run

@@kamilmurattyea don’t get me wrong; the car is in amazing condition but somethings just not adding up, the dealer has it listed for 46,000 and an e92 m3 with only 18k miles should go for 60000-70000. Yea there’s no way the car wasn’t driven for 5 plus years as well.
