Zack helped articulate what I knew was wrong.. He next-leveled who I am and what I knew, as an adolescent in the nineties and now as someone who fights for humanity and against oppressive systems; I will never forget when I first heard them. One of the greatest artists and poets of the millennium. If I could right now I would follow Rage across the planet.

Fugazi founder Ian MacKaye and that bands music and lyrical content took a very similar path. One can first ask themselves what their Ethos is,and change that if need be. You can lead a person to knowledge, but you can't make them think. Revolutionaries, Anarchists and rebellious people need to find each other and come together. Like-minded people can change a systems course,it happened once,it can happen again. When enough people tire of the shit being fed to them,it will change. Not enough yet,we are still waiting. No Justice No Peace...

I love how during the debut album period of RATM, Zack was so calm being interviewed but i consider the debut album of RATM as the angriest mainstream album from the 1990s period with Korn’s debut album coming in at a close second since both Zack and Jonathan Davis sported dreads and both of them having an extremely venomous and aggressively energetic onstage presence during their two debut album periods respectively and both albums were strictly responsible for shaking up the alternative metal scene and giving birth to Nu Metal in 1992 and 1994 respectively. The early to mid nineties was simply an unhinged period for the metal scene bar none.
