It was very fascinating to watch. We found it a little eerie, as there was no music with the show. The masses of people were quiet until there was a new image, then you would hear a lot of 'ooohhs'! That was pretty cool! Thanks for watching!

This vlog is a testament to just how unaffordable Sydney has become. Self assembly rice paper rolls $32. Yikes.Vietnam you'd be lucky to pay $3.

Hi @Izzy9975, you raise a good point. It is pretty crazy to get rice paper rolls for $32, especially in Cabramatta! It was enough for the both of us and tasty but still… Thanks for watching!

You're welcome, thanks for watching! This was our first drone show as we missed last year and found it pretty cool (other than the netflix Bridgerton plug). The sad thing for us was that it wasn't on every night. Not surprisingly the crowds were insane as a result.

Just came back from Albania, it is prob one of the most expensive countries tries i have visited so far. Tirana, the capital of Albania is a joke. If they think they belong to EU they are being delusional, starting from peoples mentality on the road and ending it with prices that change constantly. If you can, avoid Tirana all together and concentrate on south of Albania where you can find absolutely amazing nature. Keep in mind thst you will run out if things to do quickly in Albania, as i.e. Corfu is able to offer 5x more for the same price. It was interesting journey to Albania, but i cant recommend it to anyone ;).
@BucketListTravellers2 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. We are very fascinated by your comments about Albania being one of the most expensive countries to visit. We visited back in 2022 after travelling through Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro. We then travelled to Corfu after Albania. At the time, Albania was definitely the cheapest, from accommodation to food. There must have been an enormous rate of inflation there over the last two years. At the time, locals were telling us that the cost of living was pretty tough and that a large number of young people move to different countries for better work opportunities. We agree with you that the south of Albania is beautiful.

Our point was that Managua had more variety in international cuisine than anywhere else in Nicaragua. Hi there, we recorded this from the Overseas Passenger Terminal area in Circular Quay. Try to get there before 8pm otherwise the area gets shut off. The drone show starts at 9:10pm. We got there around 7:30pm and were able to be in the second row of people closest to the water.

Thanks for the informative video! I’m going to Carcassonne this summer and your video has been very helpful. I’ll be going together with my 80-year-old mother, so I’m wondering if it’s possible to get some kind of ride to the top for her. She wouldn’t be capable of walking uphill that distance. Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
@BucketListTravellers2 күн бұрын
You're most welcome! There is a back entrance (Where Dame Carcas statue is seen in our video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKjQdqWHZaqoe68si=UylZ6ibWbCHyVlO5&t=1174) that is next to a car park, so you should be able to get a lift to that car park and walk straight in without much hassle. Unfortunately the entrance that we first entered the castle town can only be accessed by a relatively steep walkway, so that might be tough for your mother. Enjoy your trip!

...Australians! "Bidets are very popular in Italy and very popular in Albania"...it is called being civilized and wash your arse instead of walking around with bits of your feces hanging between your arsecheeks! Many other cultures have a variation of that (arabs, turks, indians, etc. - just a hose but better than nothing), infact in those countries is considered impolite to shake hands with your left one, because that is the hand that is usually used to wash your arse. Only Japanese have picked up in a more civilized fashion with their 'do-it-all' toilets.

Unfortunately this video is outdated and not relevant anymore, just got back from Croatia (shoulder season in May 2024) and all those prices have gone way up. Catamaran from split to hvar or korcula are now 25€ not 5€. A studio appartement range about 50-100€ (or more) a night ,flix bus from dubrovnik to split or split to zadar 25€.

Hi Wes, thanks very much for your update. We had heard that prices lifted once Croatia converted over to the Euro. It sounds like prices have lifted up a lot! Funnily enough our Montenegro videos are getting a lot of interest, perhaps Croatia is getting too expensive and people are looking for cheaper alternatives for similar experiences.

I lived in Nicaragua for a couple years in the late 1990s, but I never did any tourist things and I didn’t live in the tourist areas (l lived in Estelí, Juigalpa, Tipitapa, Managua). The last time I visited was 2001 and those visits were just visiting friends and a college research study. I’m bring some people down this summer and I’m trying to get a handle on a couple tourist things. The only tourist information I have is from KZbin videos like yours (thank you) and internet. All the internet stuff I find seems to be way over priced. I’d love any recommendations you have but specifically I’m wondering if you have any recommendations for groups to volcano board Cerró Negro and/or Canopy Tours. We plan to visit southern Nicaragua (Granada, Ometepe, San Juan del Sur) along with Leon and Estelí.
@BucketListTravellers2 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for watching! We've got a fair bit of information on our website also that could prove useful for your preparations: jjbucketlisttravellers.com/destinations/nicaragua/. To answer your questions, we went with Volcano Day and we were happy with their service. The tour also covered a trip to Las Penitas in the afternoon. Whilst also good generally, we were bunched in with people from Big Foot hostel and had a really uncomfortable ride back on the bus due to misbehaving young tourists. The Bigfoot staff (also young tourists) didn't manage the unruly behaviour. Perhaps we just had a bad one off experience, but something to be mindful of. For places around Granada, contact Danny from Danny's tours. He was a good operator, well priced and he took us to Somoto Canyon from Granada (video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2msoJmkiLeJmsk). Generally it is best to ask around once you are on the ground. This was our approach, but only useful if you have the luxury of time. All the best with your trip!
