Strategy to See

Thanks for joining me, Diane Sheline, at Strategy to See. I have 35+ years of experience in special education with a focus on students with CVI for 15+ years. After taking many courses and researching the limited information on CVI, I developed a variety of tools/strategies that appeared to be promising for this population, and received my Perkins-Roman CVI Range Endorsement in 2016. I’ve worked closely with the Outreach Department at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, developing programs such as the CVI Clinic and various online webinars. I conduct independent assessments using the CVI Range and work with students’ Team Members to develop educational programs that encourage more consistent, efficient vision use. I hold trainings nationwide for vision teachers, therapists, parents, and others involved in the education of children with CVI. Please visit www.strategytosee.com for more information.
