This is a game about iconoclasts in an alternate history America that is pieced together from a cataclysm or war. The character you play and her friends are basically Mutants with powers where that is against the law and distrusted. Some X-men have had colored hair since at least Polaris (green). They are pretending to be a punk and to move a package through a facist regime called Justice which has stormtroopers. It is made by a company from Norway who actively work, by their missiom statement, to include diversity in their games. It is partly funded by a Norwegian grant. I think it looks interesting and I am curious how they will play off playing someone whose mutant power array seems to include powers like the DnD Spell Command and maybe some of the “Command Word” variants. If your grasp on life is challenged for how post-apocalyptic punk rock band looks - give it up. Go look up “Pure Hell” from Philadelphia 1974 who were in the same scene the Ramones came to dominate from inside. Punk has always had black, queer, awkward, and ugly. It was the domain of rejects and miscreants. This looks on brand, but I want the music to be actual punk!

Well, this is quite lovely.

Much of what I hear on this channel does not make me ask - How did I miss this one? This LP by Equations did just that. In 2015, I would have bought this CD and put into heavy rotation on my iPod. And given how much I try to stay up with what is new in prog and psych, I now am asking how I missed this one. Hightower is truly an underrated LP that deserved and still deserves more exposure.
