Good to see Delaine still in business and hopefully not owned Americans as is the Milton Keynes bus company Arriva, formerly owned by Germans. Living in Uffington from 1936 to 1955 I have memories of using Delaine buses. The last time I rode on a Delaine was about twenty years ago when staying at the wonderful Thurlby Youth Hostel on a cycling weekend we took Delaine to and from Bourne for a pint or two. In later times we used the Thurlby pub.
