This was so bad for me that I had to get rid of a lot of my “friends” that were energy vampires. My husband is the most positive person I’ve ever met and so are the twins we had so I thrive in my home because my family is so positive.

Fun story: I have been immersed into the full ability of feeling empathy like a sixth sense by taking a 100 micro gram dose LSD. I am a very grounded person so I did not get overwhelmed, I completely surfed on the emotional extended perception. Had completely nothing visual going on, only emotionally. I was in a techno club, where you could either chill or dance. I could feel every single person in the room and also the sum / vibe of the whole room. It feels like standing in water up to your neck, but it is not water, it is emotion and information coming in. Through the whole experience, I could feel my own emotion moving like a wave through my body, up and down. It felt so balanced. I felt like the most conscious and balanced version of myself. Plus having a new sixth sense: Empathy. I approached people which energy I liked and they instantly felt comfortable with me. I understood that many people have their emotions shut down / or I could see immediately if they think too superficial. Talking with one drunk guy was an energy block nightmare. The people I liked to go to shined very positive and glowed with lots of emotion in general. Their energy was very present and welcoming. I had a lot of fun opening many hearts from people and giving compliments just for their energy. Funny thing: Seeing people kissing was like almost an orgasm for myself, I felt exactly the pleasure that they felt. On top of that, I could feel and understand the emotional pattern of people dancing. The music creates an emotional wave, which I could feel it passes through my body. It passes through everybody. Everybody danced in his own way, but every dance was in respond, tune and tempo surfing on the emotional wave through the room - created by the sum of every single person, created by the music that was playing. At the end of the experience, when leaving the techno club, I always feel like the floating water inside me slowly stands still. It found peace. And I am feeling peace with myself in such intensity. It creates such clarity with what you need to do and focus on. You think and feel: PEACE. Now I would like to know from the Empaths, the real life experts: - How much of that is normal / can you relate in your perception going through daily life? - Do you also feel like "standing in water up to your kneck"? Like normally there is empty space between you and a human being but in the perception of the empath, it is indeed filled with emotion that you feel inside your body? I even felt the direction where the emotion was coming from.

About 5 years ago at my prior workplace there was this head supervisor who was mean, she would put everyone down who worked on her shift, slam things around, degrade you even down to the way that you held something. It was horrible, if someone stood up to her, she would find a way to practically destroy them. People who have complained never got this resolved, this lady got away with everything. I was new, after a couple of weeks with her I left work ready to quit. I was talking to a friend, and he suggested that I stand up to her and tell her off, make her feel how she makes everyone feel. And told me step by step what to say and everything (He is in the military). I took his advice, went home ready for work the next day. I thought about it overnight and realized that it would be immature of me if I did come through with that. She came into work angry every day, what if she was being abused at home, what if her kid was a drug addict and she was having a hard time handling it. My thoughts went on and on and how much it would hurt me to hurt someone else. I don't want anyone to feel the pain that I was feeling, it sucks. So, the next day I waited for her to come into work. She stomped in the front door angry looking as ever, my coworkers turned trying to avoid and ignore her. I perked up excited and waved my hand up high saying hi to her. She gave me the weirdest look, haha. The whole day as she was rude to me, I smiled and said sorry or okay. I think I confused her. I did this every day that I was on her shift. Her face slowly softened with me, she stopped being rude to me. When we got free work snacks, she would bring them to me and let me pick whichever one I wanted and would set them in her office where no one dared to grab one. She would let me off early if needed and eventually would smile at me. I also got whatever position in the store that I wanted that day. She also stuck up for me when a customer was rude to me. I think my supervisor just needed to feel like she was appreciated and liked.
