Some things that will help out Nothing but you can swim or climb. If you get overwhelmed, climbing out of their reach or swimming away can save you. Always keep a few bed rolls with you. You only get three respawn points(the desert where you start, a bed set as your respawn point, and a bedroll). If you put down two bedrolls, the first will evaporate and your new bedroll will take over that respawn point. Use this if something looks sketchy so if you die. You won't have far to run to get your stuff back. Enemies can have a normal health bar. A gold bordered health bar, a single skill on their health bar, and three skulls on their health bar. Gold health bars are for unique and rare thralls that you'll eventually be able to knock out and take. Single skull means mini boss, you can knock out and tame human mini bosses, but not animals. Three skulls are world bosses. It's advised you not fight them untill you've got much better weapons and armor. It's also advised that you take them on after getting some good thralls so that you can have a secondary source of aggro and damage. There's an i sane number of items and recipes you can find everywhere. Often seeing a weapon or tool lying around in a camp or structure will let you interact with it and add it to your inventory. Look at your "Journey" tab and complete those when you can. Completing one often unlocks another one and lets you know about the virety of things available within the game. Though most journey rewards are bland, a few are truly helpful. If you're feeling particularly brave and think you can pull it off, killing a world boss has a 30% chance of dropping a legenday weapon/armor piece from that world boss' loot pool. If you get a good rhythm down and can repeatedly kill one, you can farm for legendaries. Legendaries xannot be repaired so try not to rely too heavily on them until you have ample replacements. If you are looking for good mining places, let me know, i can point you in their direction, however, my mining locations are plagued by rocknoses(a kind of a stone horse looking monster that's often found near decent mining areas). It's advised you have a thrall with you before venturing into areas that i suggest.
@fireballstardracoАй бұрын
That is some really useful info there, the bed rolls I keep forgetting to use at times because I am so used to doing these games Ark style, which I shouldn't be doing as I came to realise the enemies are tougher then Ark XD As for the Journey I only just realised that was a thing because again I am used to doing what I did on Ark and just do things my way, so again that is something I will need to drill out of my head and say "hey you are playing Conan Exiles, get the Dinos out of your head, this game will murder you" XD I think with the Croc in this I didn't think it was gong to be one shot, I thought it was going to be easy, but my goodness it was a killer, but I am learning there are pattens to the beasts attacks Thank you for the strong advice and if I do need help I will for sure ask, thanks a million buddy :D
@themultiverse6734Ай бұрын
@fireballstardraco I've played ark into the ground and in general i love the survival genre. Just like how ark has it's specific "if i want to live i should do this" things, so too does conan. An example of an early fame cheese method. If you can get the set religion and build his altar, you can craft poison arrows that are very good early game. Poison stacks up to ten times and is great if you're in a hard to reach spot. That world boss croc can't hit you if you climb a tree. Then its just a matter of hitting it with poison arrows and letting the DOT do it's job. The poison wares off so you'll need to refresh it periodically, but the damage output and reliability are top tier for the early game. Unfortunately, I don't believe there's any crossplay so you'll be on your own. Survival games grow much easier when you have a partner to pull some of the survival weight. If you go north from that world croc pond, there's a path that takes you into a large desert area. Head towards F5 on your map and you'll see a sizable supply of iron rocks you can mine. Rocknoses are everywhere in there and will be a huge pain for the early game players. If you can get an animal pen built, go kidnap baby shalebacks and raise them on lobster if it's available. The green shalebacks and red ones are trash. You want a shaleback that looks like it has purple or preferably one that looks brown and has a rocky looking head. The latter is called a greater shaleback and it's stats are better than the others. The shaleback thrall has good hp and phenomenal armor. You'll want to level it up before taking it into a world boss fight, however, it's great at pulling aggro and can take good hits. Your authority stat is a must have if you're using thralls, and if you're going at it solo, I'd suggest investing in the expertise stat. The greater shaleback takes time to kill typical mobs, but it can still solo a lot of things. Best part. It eats aloe which is in great supply in the southern part of the map. Regardless of what you choose, all can be reset and redistributed so don't be afraid to make mistakes. Oh! Aloe potions which you can make yourself are fantastic for restoring health. Make some and see for yourself. They beat bandages hands down.

Youre good at building and narration, as well as have a pleasant voice. I think not many people click your videos because they're quite lengthy; if you cut out moments of silence or when youre gaining resources, explore and find nothing amusing, it'd be more enjoyable for an average viewer. Good luck and hope an audience find you! I remember playing that game and, yeah, the building is some pixel-hunting experience. Some tips for you: if you hold shift or control, I dont really remember, you can move all items of the same time between inventories. Theres a sand cave to the left from a huge circular wreck, miners there produce super alloy, disassemble it and gain all basic resources at once
