Is there a reason you picked the Pajero?
@Smash_GarageАй бұрын
best car for the money i could afford. focussed on reliabilty and interiour comforts. not that the seats are comfy. could afford a landcruiser, and the prado was $10K more for the same features. very glad i made the choice its been a very reliable and capable car offroad and is well mannered on the longer road trips.

How’s on road performance? I been debating this but mainly do beach and road. Sometimes on the beach it looks like I’m about to be a plow
@Smash_GarageАй бұрын
where i am without a 2" lift and 32" tires i was a plow half the time... on road performance is really good. very much a trade off for flex offroad. but its a good middle ground between the two.
@jpw5029Ай бұрын
@@Smash_Garage cheers. Any beaches around wa you’d avoid with standard lift?

Nah not really, it all changes daily depending on what other cars use it. even the beaches change with seasons too. give everything a crack i say

I have a 91 2wd 4ze1 hi-tourqe I chucked 30's under it winch bar and winch and I went absolutely everywhere in it and thrashed the fuck out of it every night in bush haha, I got it up steep clay hills in rain and big holes etc was a awesome ute went further the the 4x4's I went with to ahah. Bloody awesome utes. Gotta fix mine up and get it back on the tracks, But I'm in process of trying to my VT commodore a offroader haha
@Smash_GarageАй бұрын
sounds epic, ive always said a good driver will get further than a good car. if you wanna go huge on a VT you want to look into GC8 coilovers in the front. only need to drill 3 holes in the strut tower and elongate one of the bottoms... i run 28" tires up front but could go bigger.

sure do its a regular farm workhorse. bench seat doesnt make it the best thrash car, too hard to hold on! great for track clean up though with two trailers on it.

Hi there, I am looking into lifting my Pajero IV as well, but I was wondering how this goes with like the tires and everything? Are they still cambered as with the stock suspension or are they wearing differently now? My Pajero is my Overlanding/Offroading car but also still my Daily and does a lot of kilometers, hence the question.
@Smash_GarageАй бұрын
yeah a 2" will keep it all within spec, any bigger and you will want customer UCA to camber correct it.

Last year in my TJ Magna the exhaust separated at the middle muffler and the noise inside the car was INSANE! Esp on the highway when accelerating up the hill. Fuel consumption improved a bit. I replaced the exhaust with a Sports or VRX Exhaust. Those Mitsubishi cyclone (6G74) engines do go like a cyclone that is for sure.

I came here for the comments. Everyone going on about rust. It’s not a Landcruiser. I took my 97 Pajero in the ocean when I toured Australia. Didn’t get chance to wash it for about 2 weeks after. That was 5 years ago and it still only has minimal surface rust (which was there before)
