As a Christian I have some good news for Glen Benton. All his regrets - past, present and future have been washed away by the blood of Jesus. Salvation in Christ is a easy as believing this truth.

My introduction to Vio-lence was a gift. I went to see Testament on The New Order tour and this band takes the stage with their own mosh pit. 4 chords into the first song I was handing my glasses to a friend and into the pit until they were finished.

So the guy at the beginning says Mille needs to shut up because he doesn't agree with him but then doesn't say the same thing about the guy from Nuclear Assault.
@jerryallenvideographer7796
@jerryallenvideographer7796 8 ай бұрын
Isn’t that what lefties do constantly? One sided bias and the stifling of opinions they don’t agree with. I am neither left nor right but I was pissed that all these lefty bands talked shit after 9/11. The guys from Nuclear Assault weren’t talking shit about Germany and why would they when they know they’ll eventually tour there. 😂😂😂Germany shouldn’t be criticizing any country. (Cough Hitler cough) 😂 back around 9/11 we all believed payback against the middle east was justified. The video reflected the sign of the times. It was shot in the early 2000s. These days we know that our government perpetrated 9/11 or allowed it to happen. Regardless, people were upset back then about all those innocent lives being lost. I lost family in the Workd Trade Center. Like I said, the fog of war. These days I don’t agree with anything Bush did. He sucked almost as bad as Obama but not even close to Biden. Despite the intro, we gave Kreator a great segment with no bias. Same with destruction who were also talking mad shit about the USA in the press but enjoy touring here. More importantly is you not knowing who “that guy” is. And you’re into metal? 😂😂😂
@napalmslayer
@napalmslayer 8 ай бұрын
@@jerryallenvideographer7796 Well whatever side of politics your on, you should let people on the other side have the right to voice their opinion. When you say leftie bands "talked shit" after 9/11, they were talking shit about the fact that their asshole president (as well as my arsehole prime minister in the uk Tony Blair) was exploiting 3000 deaths to cause even more thousands of deaths in Iraq who had nothing to do with it. The guys from Nuclear Assault weren't talking shit on Germany because Germany weren't taking their country into an illegal war, if they were then they could talk shit about them whether they were touring there or not. Just because of their history with world war 2, it doesn't mean that Germans should not be allowed to criticise any other country. As for thinking that "payback was justified" speak for your yourself. Here in the UK (and the US) millions marched against the war and were ignored. So in hindsight you do agree that Mille was more in the right then John from Nuclear Assault? (who I think you can tell Danny doesn't agree with by the way). I'm sorry you lost family in 9/11. I know the guy is Sean from Violence. I just couldn't remember his name when I made the first comment.
@TalesFromThePit
@TalesFromThePit 8 ай бұрын
I think we basically agree. We're on the side of politics that allow for free thinking and free expression without censorship. Freedom period. That intro is what Sean wanted to say 20 years ago as he leans right. He read Mille and Schmier's comments on Blabbermouth right after 911 and so didn't I. We love Kreator and Destruction. If we didn't love them, we wouldn't bother interviewing them. We only feature bands we like. In all fairness to what you wrote about giving both sides a chance to talk, if you watch the interview again, Mille starts off by expressing his political opinion. And I raised the point that despite how you feel about Bush, metal music is always stronger when the right is in power. Do I feel the same today as I did back in early 2000 about that intro? Hell no! Bush is a piece of shit. His whole family are deep state puppets. I'm just uploading old clips. I didn't tell Sean what to say but I agreed with it at the time. Both bands weren't helping the situation so soon after 911 with their Blabbermouth commentary. It was something we don't normally do. Maybe I'll edit out the intro. Thanks for your feedback.
@TalesFromThePit
@TalesFromThePit 8 ай бұрын
fixed.
@napalmslayer
@napalmslayer 8 ай бұрын
@@TalesFromThePit Well thats exactly the way it should be. Freedom of opinion is a fundamental right in the free world. Sean made it clear where he stood on the issue and i guess he was just expressing his opinion on what Mille was saying. The fact you did let Mille say what he had to say and went along with it during the interview deserves a lot of credit. I think a lot of people feel differently about it now then they did then. Most of the world seem to agree that Bush and Blair are a pair of war criminals who should be locked up. You honestly didnt need to edit out the intro and it was not my intention to make you do so with my first comment. Your welcome for the feedback.

Slayer is a favorite of mine but I totally agree. That new Kerry King track was generic. He even admits it was a leftover from Repentless. An album I'm not a fan of. At all. King needs to let Phil write some Eternal Nightmarish riffs. Maybe it will get better?
