Even better is the SC20/JCM800 with the SD-1 in front. Perfect Zakk Wylde tones! My personal custom (rare Hidalgo mod) SD-1 is even better. Sounds and reacts a little more naturally and dynamically and offers 3 switchable voicings. Warm: Uncut bass, Bright: original sound with intense bass-cut, Rock: a little more gain, but moderate bass cut. Never liked a Tube Screamer, but the SD-1 works really well, especially in front of a Marshall, but also in front of a Vox, also because it increases harmonics so nicely. Simply rocks!
