ive been obsessed with this song for the past 4 days since i found it, shared it to some friends too. Good sht, lyrics are so good too, love the rough, monotone and dragged out nature of the singing, then the way it quickens the pace, sounds exactly like what i feel the song is trying to communicate, dull, spiteful, lazy yet tense and jittery with some sort of desperation in there that comes out full on at the end. From a post punk/darkwave loving goth this is one of the more unique and catchy songs ive found lately. Absolute banger and im saving this for so many playlists rn

@pennystowers6491 Ooh the context explains that entire feel of desperation; almost like having the one sided, in this case, entitled view of " I build up all of this, I put in all the effort, I did everything, for you guys to treat me like this?" Born from a real struggle snowballed into just bad attitudes. Love the grey area the song portrays, a situation where someone is objectively being a bad person to others and yet showing you the context and emotion behind their actions that almost makes you just want to empathize, honestly relatable in a lot of ways, we all have been that way, so destructive, but raw and messy as emotions, spite and anguish can feel at times. Keep it up! Will definitely keep this as one of my fave songs of this end of the year! 🤲
