Old and too complicated. I own one for my collection. But I never carried it. Nowadays intelligent Firmware does the trick. It's fun to play around for hours. I started with Andruil and ended with NarsilM, which has a few pos over Andruil (no delay when turning it off etc) Both are very good. Even for tactical use. Stay away from Bistro etc ... those are NOT capable for intuitive tasks.

New BM 940 side play out the box, so I tightened it. Spyderco PM 2 out the box can't change pocket clip cause screws spin in opposite end holes. Bought a Buck 110.

@Views-hx8vx3 жыл бұрын
@Poke J bull crap. There's was a death last year and the guy barely made it to the entrance. You can't swim through it. Most people are out of breath before they get to the entrance.

@Poke J with fins I believe it. I did without fins. But it was close.
@marksilva29293 жыл бұрын
@Poke J no worries bro, I did it without fins as well and passed out on the other side..I surfaced but it was close. Views what year did you do it. The park rangers were there preparing for a recovery. They said no way without fins. I came up on the other side and it was all rock under the water, so I had to swim out another 20 feet then up. Before you could go through and straight up. But the water was so high I cracked my head under water. Hyperventilated when I came up after banging my head. I definitely want to try it with fins. Never again without.

What was the tool you where using?
@eqlzr29 жыл бұрын
I think it's fair to say that the Loc-Tite probably had nothing to do with the rattling. If you had just tightened the pivot screw, which you refer to as the "set" screw, the rattling probably would have gone away just as well. All the Loc-Tite does is help stabilize the setting of the pivot screw over the long term.

@MSM4U2POM10 жыл бұрын
The Predator is a fantastic light, and it is worth having for the default settings alone, because the superb optics and build quality more than make up for any shortcomings. The main gripe I have is with the manual, because it has obviously been written by somebody for whom English is a second language! Are we to assume that Army Tek employ *English* speakers to write their *Japanese* documentation for them? If the manual were even half-decent, we wouldn't *need* videos like this to show us how to use the thing. Thank Heavens for the perseverance of people like OSD, because I gave up trying to make head or tail of these so-called instructions long ago.

Sorry I have so many questions. What kind of wires did you use for this Mod? Size and what type?
@johnd.920310 жыл бұрын
I have a question on the part where you connect the long red wire through the firewall. So, from the wire on the steering area with the black and red. Do you cut that or tap the long red wire to it? You mentioned you're gonna solder those two connections. I assumed you cut the solid black and red wire and then solder the long red wire.
@johnd.920310 жыл бұрын
My DRL is from my headlight and so doing this Mod will eliminate that and you can now use the Fog lights as the DRL. Is this correct?

3 things Wow! Great demo, thank you! Just bought one tonight, I'll have to watch this again when it arrives. A Fluke Meter? Someone who REALLY knows what the heck they're doing! :) And if you weren't defaulting back to factory, the only thing I was thinking was "how to undue all your programed settings... in 14 minutes..." Great video again, thank you!

I was just there two and a half weeks ago and the water was at the exact same height as this video shows. You really think a water body the size of Georgian Bay could drop 10ft in a year?
@marksilva29295 жыл бұрын
I was there this weekend and its got to be at least ten feet deeper. I free dive and would put the cave at about 35 feet deep.
