I had the exact same problem with the Brine Fill cycle not happening. Instead BF showed, but it was still doing Rapid Rise (RR). Then 10 seconds of BF and then returning to Service mode. What fixed it was doing a Soft Rest (holding the regeneration button down for 25 seconds. Then stepping it through each cycle and the BF operated for 10 minutes, properly refilling the brine tank.

I had a brine fill issue and checked everything multiple times with no luck. I downloaded the Fleck 5600 SXT manual from the Pentair site and they show what cam positions should be in relation to the current cycle. Turns out, when the display read BF, the cams were out of position. I did a master reset of the control head and it is now working properly. Not sure how it got confused, but give it a try. EDIT --- it turns out this procedure worked because it reset the valve type to double backwash. Not fully knowing what that entailed, I reset it to single backwash when I reprogrammed the settings. My brine fill problem was back. Well, my unit has the double backwash cam installed, so if the valve type is not set to double backwash, there won't be any brine fill. This is the cam that sits behind the control panel, not the one in the back by the valves. I believe the single is black, and the double is blue. Information is lacking about this, so I wanted to share my experience.

Thanks for making this video. I picked up the U8H 55" last week. I noticed the lip sync issue as well. Mine seems to be more pronounced on certain streaming sources (KZbin TV seems to be worst). I tried the lip sync setting on my LG sound bar and it was a lot worse once I realized the lowest setting on the TV wasn't cutting it. I have to beleive this can be corrected by a firmware update. Otherwise, the TV is outstanding.

What valves did you have to replace? Any part numbers or kit numbers you can share?

Right, I bought a valve replacement kit I found on Amazon that said it was for the Fleck 5600 - but it didn't work. So I took out the replacement valves and just kept all the new rubber seals and put in my original valve - by replacing just the rubber seals that came with kit the whole thing worked.

@@LukePawlowski8 I’m having the exact same problem. How would the seals have anything to do with the water not dispensing? It sounds like it was a computer issue or maybe the valve was getting stuck? Any other possible explanation? Thank you for sharing.

I should add that when I first saw it, it was a spec of light near the moon about right over head. I ran inside for my camera and when I came out it was still pretty high in the sky but getting smaller - it was just a tiny spec of light in the sky heading SSW. It could have been a military jet, sat, ISS, or anything. To my eye it just looked like a spec of light and the pictures I saw in my camera were a bit of a surprise.
