Though its a short video , very nicely presented . Would like to correct one information. There are only 2 rooms in Cheethal. The central one though looks like a room, its only common dining room. But the thrill of staying is of different level. Please see my video of stay at Cheetal & separate video on stay at Harini. Both times had very close encounter with leopard. Hi, I've a few queries. I've booked a room in kokila cottage. How far is the safari from the cottages? Can we cook food in the cottage if we bring our own stove? I see there are morning slots as well for bus Safari, can we go the next day mrng for safari ride? Will there be any discounts for safari, if we're having a cottage booking? Thanks in advance

@@girishchowdaryv Hi Girish. Regaring your points: 1: All of the cottages (Kokila, Chital etc.) are very close to each other, adjacent infact. And the safari booking counter is 7 KMs away, on Mysore-Ooty Highway itself. Safari starts from here only. Both, the bus and the gypsy ones too. 2: When we went, we asked the caretaker about cooking food. He told that you can bring food from outside, but can not cook. But to be honest, I did not feel that this restriction will be enforced. But it is better to check once by calling them. Also I would want to add that if you want to have food in the common mess, going there in night in open e-buggy will be an adventure in itself. Caretaker will escort you in buggy, and you will have to watch your back all of the time with the help of torch 😄 3: Yes, morning slots are also there for bus. But I would suggest that after checkin in noon, go for afternoon/evening bus safari. And the next morning, go on jeep safari. Jeep goes very deep into the forest than the bus. And it is real adventure. We also did the same. 4: Yes, we got the discount in bus safari ticket price when we presented our cottage-booking receipt at the safari booking counter. We were not aware of this. The guy at the check-in reception guided us through this perk. I hope I could help in some way. I wish you a nice and enjoyable stay. Stay safe 🤟

Hampi residential area is limited to very small area. So this market is there in 1 lane in that area itself. It is very near to Virupaksha Temple.
