Hydrocarbon extractors such as the Tamisium or Pforma Extractors can be very tunable and even more tunable than any other process. Actually calling it a Hydrocarbon extractor is incorrect because one of the tuning abilities is to adjust polarity of the solvent by combining or using other solvents. It can use other solvents but people dont know this because they have favored hydrocarbon over the last 15 years of it being sold and used. Jake I guess there are 4 types of Extractors and Tamisium is the only one in its class. The terpene loss comment makes no since in light of that. Actually CO2 when dried to remove water is the solvent experiencing the terpene loss. Other solvents such as ethanol that require very high temps to evaporate it away also lose terpenes. Water and CO2 create carbonic acid and therefore CO2 processes should require biomass to be bone dry and in so doing terpenes are removed and actually THC is decarboxylated in the process as well. Tamisium Extractors are so controllable that you can exclude or include terpenes and target anything or exclude it. So tunable in fact that a true formula for extracting can be created where all the 7 variables of extraction are controlled and that degree of control is vast enough to allow a lot of formulas to be created. I would say that 99% of the extractor techs out there do not even know what the 7 variables are. They are Load Ratio, Quality of material, Pressure, Contact Time, Contact Temperature, Density of the Plant Material Grind and Polarity of Solvent. A system used must be properly designed to allow solvent cooling, heating, combining solvents, changing the load ratio of solvent volume to plant matter volume and speed of flow of solvent. Tamisium Extractors are also C1D2 systems that does not leak solvent during operation or after when opening the plant column because it can recover all the solvent 100%. This video is not reflecting those facts which no offense to Jake George here shows how hard it is to get accurate information about extraction and extractor facts. In addition the Tamisium or PForma systems allows you to use ethanol, hydrocarbon or a combination of those solvents as well as combining other solvent such as acetone, DME and so forth. Scaling is not a issue either. 1 ton processors can be built. Scaling is a matter of safety due to the volume of solvent used but also a matter of recovering 100% of the solvents. As you scale up it gets harder to recover solvent from your plant column because heat cannot penetrate into large diameter columns when heating from the wall of the column. I have several patents on solving these issues and now scale is achievable with very large columns that can even hold 1000 lbs each. Pumps leaking solvent are the other issue which is why it is so important to move away from them when scale or production capacity is needed. A thermodynamic driven system is how you do that and since you gain more control of the extraction controls with thermodynamic systems it is also the best way to go. I guess I should have not retired so soon.

I think you’re taking the right approach. Setting the groundwork properly is more important than people realize. Explosive growth will kill you if you don’t have the foundation rock solid. When Tobi made the pivot from selling snowboards to selling the platform, it almost killed them, they focused hard on their core, got everything iron clad then went public. It makes a difference. Keep up the smart moves!

Jake....what is happening at the "farm", with the cannabis growth and the growers there? All space being farmed? What kinds of revenues is that bringing in? Is the Canadian market honoring trades now? Can we get new stock symbol to replace "WSHE" with a GreenLink symbol?

What you said about strains makes a lot of sense. Reminds me of how carefully crops are chosen for agricultural use. All the studies and science behind our produce today for the best aspects the grower wants to emphasize on (e.g. harvest quantity, flavor, appearance, longevity, size, etc.) Times are changing. Cannabis is joining the mainstream and growers need to have the research to back up any claims.

You hit the nail on the head. I'm not trying to be hostile towards Growers or folks in the industry who focus on their genetics.
