The premice that could've been great is that the beginning of the film could set a the genesis of that utopic society. It's 2019/2020. It could have been a great way to depict what changes in the society since the battle of the bands at the end of bogus journey and show the idea of an utopic world kind of like the spider society in across the spider-verse. As viewers we get the chance to explore deeply the sci-fi side of that world even if it's comical.

I'm big fan of Bill and Ted. It's my cumfort trilogy. I think the first is the best. It's cute, silly, surreal takes the teen movie genra into sci-fi. It's the best ! The sequels for me are extensions of the first one. Good extensions but not as great. They're enjoyable. The problem with this trilogy is that it's not that consistent. The future world and the law of the Bill and Ted universe serves the scripts and the era where thoses films were made. kind of go everywhere for those who look at thoses films with that ultralogical lenses. I really enjoy that third movie it was a cute conclusion. The force of those films is definitly Bill and Ted and the chemistry between Winter and Reeves and in this film it was still there even if enthusiastic Keanu is not there. It gives depth to his character. Ted had always be the most vulnerable of the pair and it works. He's tired and i accept that. The fact that the daughter unifes the universe is incoherent i here but in the end they're Bill and Ted daughters. It's because the fathers brings them into their music world and quest that Billie and Thea become able to have that knowledge of music. Bill and Ted gives them the key and ressources to put that song so it's also a victory for their Dads. You have to consider how the world have changed between the making of Bogus Journey and Face The Music. I like that movie more when i think about the fact that it's not a cynical hollywood crap legacy sequel. It have a small budget and This film have a heart. I always thought that Bill and Ted was about the initiatic journey of two naive friends that wanted a great future for their lives and the theme of legacy stick to that journey. We saw them as enthusiastic teenagers, depressed young adults and now parents that wants the best for theirs families and the world that they left for their children. So it makes sense. They had to accept the idea of transmission and that Preston/Logan will continue beyond them.

I think it's time for the another movie like SuperBad :)

I maybe in the minority here, but having the daughters be the key to the song that saves the world really was insulting. Granted the story made sense to where you predicted that, but it was terrible. Because its like having Bill and Ted shove their problems on their kids. When in fact the whole point of their characters from the very beginning is to solve their own problems. This was a really stupid move to do that.

Completely dumps on the first two movies. So bill and ted never saved the world, was their daughters and an assorted POC band. Basically a pathetic retcon attempt for the mythical “modern audience, that reflects the world today”. Read some comments from the witter; he went woke. I’m pretending the third one doesn’t exist. They made something beyond them with the first two and even they themselves can’t ruin that.

No way would it have gotten an NC-17 rating. Bloodless blunt blows never garner anything more than a PG-13.

Fucking loved this movie and really wanna see a sequel. I love all the indications that he is basically like Captain America with his strength and healing factor lol. I would love to see him take on Krampus played by Russel Crowe: his evil brother Plus eyepatch wearing badasses are few and far between so throw us some more of that!

I dislike how others are laughing and smiling when a stuntman was hurt brutally. I know the scene sounds awesome but i don't think the reaction of hearing someone getting such pain would make u smile so wide

They forgot to make it funny!! Bill & Ted was a straight comedy with a smart edge to it. Bogus Journey was a totally different vibe... more a sci-fi/ metal flick and way less adult humor. This one was a "fun for the whole family" film for reasons I'm not sure of. Bill & Ted are a comedy duo. Them interacting is funny. They were allowed to be funny at the therapist. That's it Waaaay to many lines went towards celebrity cameos and undeveloped characters. If they had been confident enough to allow Bill & Ted to carry the movie, it would have been great. They were the focal point, but not directly interacting much with each other. They seemed to be acting more with other versions of themselves - so all that great back and forth comedy is missing. The daughters were cool, but were they trying to be funny? Would they have made the original Bill & Ted about two stoners who don't do funny stuff? The historical figures weren't even phased at all by time travel or developed. Boo. If it was funny,
