Popcorn Creek is one of the best rides around our area. Some of those side trails are decent. I'm like you, I have been by there several times and never knew it was there until last year. Great video! Love the story telling and the fact that you took the time to stop and cook lunch. That always seems to add to the adventure.

Thanks for comment and appreciate the support!! Means a ton to us!! That's the Procycle Dash. Basically a nice two switch panel for accessories and a usb charging port with voltmeter. I use one switch for my heated hand grips and hope to use the other for some aux LED lights someday. I swapped out the rocker switch dual usb charger for a similar one but with the lightning usb-c port as well. It's really easy to install and works really well. Here's a little video we did with a link for the dash. If you grab one, make sure to tell them we sent ya!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6XbZqGJmdyeiZo

I try to stay off the middle of the trail for that reason, but if you come up on something that looks soft, its best to hit the gas to get the weight off the front tire, the one time I remember seeing that happen my brother tapped the front brake which did the exact same thing.

Hey awesome video and I know this is a long shot but here goes; got a 95 sw2 auto with 59k on it for cheap because it has a trans issue. Guy put a junkyard trans from a 93 in it and replaced the cooler lines/fluid/filter. Not sure what "normal" time is for reverse to engage for a 30yr old trans but this one is a couple seconds and no banging. My issue is the car will shift fine 1-4 multiple times for a few mins, but kicks down to 3rd and sometimes 2nd when driving steady speed in 4th. Come to a stop, take off, it's stuck in 1st (somtimes makes it into 2nd). If you let off the gas and get back on it, it free revs and is basically in N and is barely barely accelerating. Come to a stop or let it coast down to 5mph, 1st will always reengage but it's stuck in 1st and does the same N slip if you let off and get back on it. It throws trans codes (no engine codes) for no 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear. Craziest part is if you restart the car, it'll drive and shift 1-4 totally fine with zero slip for another couple mins, but then the same thing happens where it's stuck in 1st and slips when you let off and get back on it. If I brake torque it when it's stuck in 1st, it doesn't slip. I can feel it shift gears if I move the shifter from D to 3 or 2 but it still free revs. So far I've found and fixed one of the cooler lines that was kinked, changed the fluid/filter (ACDelco), replaced trans temp sensor(ACDelco)+connector, input+output speed sensors(ACDelco), tried a junkyard PCM, verified the neutral safety switch was correctly adjusted, ohmed out the solenoids at the trans (all around 5.0, no burnt pins or wires) and at the PCM (all around 5.9), verified all solenoids fire and sound similar with the car in diag mode, and lastly replaced/torqued the valve body with an ebay one with the sonnax upgrades. STILL HAVE THE SAME EXACT ISSUE!! Going to remove/loctite/retorque the input+output shaft nuts next, but am out of ideas after that. Probably unrelated, but I can move the shift lever with the key out of the ignition and my foot off the brake. I know there's a trans relearn procedure but I literally can't drive it long enough to complete it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out with any ideas, this is driving me nuts and I really don't want to have to manual swap this thing
@PSBEadventures
@PSBEadventures 9 күн бұрын
If I remember correctly, the 91-94 may have a different gear ratio than the 95 and that could definitely cause the issue. Any codes setting at all?
@ryanholgate2852
@ryanholgate2852 9 күн бұрын
@@PSBEadventuresthe only codes it has are trans codes 22, 23, and 24
@PSBEadventures
@PSBEadventures 9 күн бұрын
@ryanholgate2852 unfortunately I believe it may have the wrong trans . Either the wrong year or it could possibly be from a sl1. Those exact codes will set and it'll shift and then lock out when this happens. You could grab a ecu from a 95 SL1 and see if it will shift. It should run fine with the sl1 ecu
@ryanholgate2852
@ryanholgate2852 9 күн бұрын
I don't have a photo handy but I swear I looked at the stamp on the top of my trans (which also had "1993" written in paint marker on it) and it said MP7. I will check when I get home and let you know. The junkyard PCM I tried was out of a 95 SC2. You think the MP7 has different ratios for 93 vs 95?
@PSBEadventures
@PSBEadventures 9 күн бұрын
@ryanholgate2852 mp7 would definitely be for the dual cam. Yes, I'm pretty sure the early VB and gear ratio is possibly different up to 94 and changed in 95. I could be wrong about that. Been a long time since I've worked on that early

HI! I think only you have the expertise to help me. My motorbike doesn't want to start. For now I have carried out these checks: I put in a new battery, checked all the electrical cables and connectors which were cleaned with a specific spray. many were in very bad condition but the bike won't start. she's dead, she makes no sign. the instrument panel does not turn on but the headlight works. I found the starter relay and did the "bridge" and at that moment the starter motor moved. Could it be the faulty relay?
