Jesus Son of Mary - Islamic Beliefs Islam is a religion which requires belief in not only the Prophethood of Muhammad(saw) but all the prophets of God, including Jesus (Qur’an 2:137). The Holy book of Islam, the Quran, relates in detail the story of Jesus, including his birth, mission as a Prophet to the Israelites, and his crucifixion. Muslims believe that this story is in harmony with the Bible too. Indeed, a whole chapter in the Qur’an is named after the mother of Jesus (Chapter 19 - Maryam). Birth of Jesus In Islam, Mary is described as a pious and righteous woman who symbolizes righteous believers blessed with Divine inspiration. Islam then affirms the fatherless birth of Jesus and rejects outright the opposing claim that his birth was illegitimate. Whereas, Islam recognizes the virgin birth of Jesus as a miraculous event, it does not consider it unnatural; the laws of nature are never broken. It just reflects the inability of man to fully understand the science behind various phenomena observed in nature. Numerous scientists have explained the virgin births. In Islam, the immaculate conception of Jesus is not interpreted to mean that he was in some way a Divine Being. He was still a human being (Qur’an 19:31). Divinity of Jesus Islam presents Jesus as a human who believed in the absolute Unity and Indivisibility of God (Qur’an 3:52). Muslims consider the doctrine of Divinity of Jesus and Trinity as later changes to the teachings of Jesus. The New Testament itself furnishes abundant evidence to show that Jesus was only a human being whom God chose for the reformation of His people, and repeatedly contradicts the Divinity of Jesus. Jesus always referred to himself as having been sent by God (John 17:3) and his followers, too, considered him a man approved by God (Qur’an 19:37; Acts 2:22, John 3:2). He was undoubtedly called the son of God, but this title has only been employed metaphorically and in fact is used for all the chosen ones of God (Matt 5:9, Exodus 4:22). The literal connotation of ‘son of God‘ as a Divine Being and hence the subsequent development of Trinity Dogma was the result of Hellenistic influences on Christianity as it spread in the Gentile world. The Semitic usage of ‘son of God‘ was misunderstood and forgotten and disputes about the exact status of Jesus erupted, as recorded in the early Church history. Jesus prayed to God like all other God-fearing individuals (Luke 5:16), and engaged in spiritual exercises such as fasting (Matt 4:2). Furthermore, Jesus lacked knowledge of the future (Mark 13:32), as only the Divine Being possesses perfect and complete knowledge. Mission of Jesus The mission of Jesus was confined to the Children of Israel (Qur’an 3:50, Matt. 10:5-6; 15:24). He was commissioned by God to revive the true spirit of the Torah in the hearts of the Israelites and clear any misunderstandings about the Law. He purified and revitalized Judaism. As Jesus was a follower of Moses, he did not change or reject the Mosaic Law. He had come to fulfill the Law (Matt 5:17). Miracles of Jesus The Holy Qur’an mentions several miracles of Jesus, including his ability to create birds, his ability to cure the leprous and the blind, and raising the dead to life. The ability to create birds is a metaphor meaning ordinary people who accepted the teachings of Jesus were spiritually transformed into birds soaring high into the lofty regions of the spiritual firmament above all worldly concerns. The healing powers can also be understood in the spiritual sense. He restored sight to those people who were spiritually blind, and gave life to those spiritually dead. Jesus specifically referred to the Pharisees of his day as being blind because, among other maladies, they were hypocritical in nature. Indeed, all reformers from God are spiritual physicians since the disbelievers are deaf, dumb and blind according to Islam (Qur’an 2:19). Crucifixion of Jesus The disbelievers of Jesus wished to bring about his death upon the cross for the purpose of calling him accursed in accordance with the pronouncement in Deut 21:23 which declares, “he that is hanged is accursed of God.” His death on the cross would thus confirm him as a false Messiah. Islam contradicts the assertion that Jesus died an accursed death on the cross. Thus, Ahmadi Muslims believe that God frustrated the plan of the disbelievers of Jesus. Although Jesus was nailed to the cross, he did not perish on it. He was removed from the cross in a state of unconsciousness (Qur’an 4:158). The Gospels, too, provide extensive evidence of his escape from the accursed death on the cross. According to Islam, Jesus did not preach salvation through atonement of sins by his death on the cross. This philosophy of someone atoning for the sins of another is emphatically rejected in the Old Testament as well (Deut. 24:16, Ezekiel 18:2 and 20). Ahmadi Muslims believe that Jesus came under the care of his devoted followers after he was removed from the cross. He was placed in the tomb where he recovered from his ordeal. The Gospels too describe that Jesus was still in his earthly body of flesh and bones after emerging from the tomb (Luke 24:39). An analysis of the post-crucifixion period described in the Gospels reveals that Jesus led a low-profile existence. He hurriedly traveled away from the locality of the crucifixion (Qur’an 23:51; Matt 28:10, Mark 16:7). Migration to the East Ahmadi Muslims believe that the physical ascension of Jesus to Heaven is a later interpolation. The term “heaven” is used for spiritual bliss which the righteous enjoy after a mortal life. Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt. 15:24). Out of twelve tribes of Israel, only two were in the region where Jesus preached. The other ten tribes, as a result of exile, were domiciled in the eastern countries, especially in Afghanistan and Kashmir. It was imperative for Jesus to migrate eastwards to complete his mission. There is overwhelming evidence that the people of Afghanistan, Kashmir and neighbouring regions are of Israelite ancestry. Their physical features, languages, folklore, customs, and festivals attest to their Israelite heritage. Evidence also comes from the names they give to their villages, their monuments, and ancient historical works and inscriptions. Jesus in India The presence of Jesus in India is recorded in the ancient Indian literature, and records of Kashmir. Jesus came to Kashmir from the Holy Land during the reign of Raja Gopadatta (49-109 AD) to proclaim his prophethood to the Israelites. He was known as Yusu (Jesus) of the children of Israel. It is recorded that great number of people recognized his holiness and piety and became his disciples

Verse #11 وَ السَّلٰمُ عَلَیَّ یَوۡمَ وُلِدۡتُّ وَ یَوۡمَ اَمُوۡتُ وَ یَوۡمَ اُبۡعَثُ حَیًّا ﴿۳۴﴾ Translation: ‘And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace there will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.’ [19:34] Proof: There are only three episodes mentioned here for Jesus(as), namely, his birth, death, and life in the hereafter. If his physical ascent to heaven and physical descent from heaven were supposed to occur, they should have been mentioned here. Translation: And there are some of you who are caused to die prematurely, and there are others among you who are driven to the worst part of life with the result that they know nothing after having had knowledge. [22:6] Proof: There are only two things destined for humans: (1) Premature death; and (2) Death from old age. Jesus(as) is also subject to this destiny. Translation: And for you there is an abode in the earth and a provision for a time [2:37] Proof: The Arabic preposition la-kum (for you) refers to all humans and clearly means that humans reside on earth with their physical bodies, and do not ascend to the realm of the hereafter. Translation: And him whom We grant long life - We revert him to a weak condition of creation. [36:69] Proof: This means that whoever reaches old age sees a reversal of their powers. That is, he begins to lose his strengths. If Jesus Christ(as) has been alive physically for more than 2,000 years, it means that his strengths must have all been lost which is a condition that only leads to death. Translation: It is Allah Who created you in a state of weakness, and after weakness gave strength; then, after strength, caused weakness and old age. [30:55] Proof: This verse also points out that no one is exempt from the influence of old age. Everyone experiences loss of strength as they grow older, and eventually they die. Translation: The likeness of the present life is only as water which We send down from the clouds, then there mingles with it the produce of the earth, of which men and cattle eat. [10:25] Proof: In this verse, humans are compared to earth-produce. They are born, followed by growth, and then they eventually die. Jesus(as) is not exempt from the laws of nature. Verse #17 ثُمَّ اِنَّکُمۡ بَعۡدَ ذٰلِکَ لَمَیِّتُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۱۶﴾ Translation: Then after that you must surely die. [23:16] Proof: This again refers to the laws of God causing death, and no exception has been made for Jesus Christ(as). Verse #18 اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَلَکَہٗ یَنَابِیۡعَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ثُمَّ یُخۡرِجُ بِہٖ زَرۡعًا مُّخۡتَلِفًا اَلۡوَانُہٗ ثُمَّ یَہِیۡجُ فَتَرٰٮہُ مُصۡفَرًّا ثُمَّ یَجۡعَلُہٗ حُطَامًا ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَذِکۡرٰی لِاُولِی الۡاَلۡبَابِ ﴿٪۲۲﴾ Translation: Hast thou not seen that Allah sends down water from the sky, and causes it to flow in the form of streamlets in the earth and then brings forth thereby herbage, varying in its colours? Then it dries up and thou seest it turn yellow; then He reduces it to broken straw. In that verily is a reminder for men of understanding. [39:22] Proof: These verses indicate that just like herbage eventually dries up and dies, human beings also live for a period of time on earth and then die. Translation: And We never sent any Messengers before thee but surely they ate food and walked in the streets. [25:21] Proof: According to this verse, prophets used to eat food but no longer eat food. For the physical body to exist, it needs nourishment through food. Since all the prophets do not eat food any longer, they are all dead, including Jesus Christ(as). Verse #20 وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ لَا یَخۡلُقُوۡنَ شَیۡئًا وَّ ہُمۡ یُخۡلَقُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۲۱﴾ اَمۡوَاتٌ غَیۡرُ اَحۡیَآءٍ ۚ وَ مَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ۙ اَیَّانَ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۲﴾ Translation: And those on whom they call beside Allah create not anything, but they are themselves created. They are dead, not living; and they know not when they will be raised. [16:21-22] Proof: All those persons who are considered ‘gods’ according to these verses are dead. Jesus Christ(as) is also believed to be god and he is dead.

30 Verses of the Holy Quran which prove the Natural Death of Jesus Christ(as) by Farhan Iqbal, Missionary, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Canada In his book, Izaala-e-Awhaam, the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as), has listed 30 verses of the Holy Quran that prove that Jesus Christ(as) has passed away. This list is available in Ruhani Khazain, vol. 3, p. 423-437. We present the list below along with a brief summary of the argument given by the Promised Messiah(as). Verse #1 اِذۡ قَالَ اللّٰہُ یٰعِیۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ وَ رَافِعُکَ اِلَیَّ وَ مُطَہِّرُکَ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَ جَاعِلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡکَ فَوۡقَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ ۚ ثُمَّ اِلَیَّ مَرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَاَحۡکُمُ بَیۡنَکُمۡ فِیۡمَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۵۶﴾ Translation: When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ. [3:56] Proof: The word mutawaffeeka means “I will cause you to die”. Whenever God is the fa’il (subject) and man is the maf’ul (object), it always refers to death. It means that God takes the soul of the man. In this case, it applies to Jesus(as) which in turn means that he has passed away. Here are two examples of the usage of the word tawaffaa, meaning death: وَ اِمَّا نُرِیَنَّکَ بَعۡضَ الَّذِیۡ نَعِدُہُمۡ اَوۡ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّکَ فَاِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُہُمۡ ثُمَّ اللّٰہُ شَہِیۡدٌ عَلٰی مَا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾ Translation: And if We show thee in thy lifetime the fulfilment of some of the things with which We have threatened them, thou wilt know it; or if We cause thee to die before that, then to Us is their return, and thou wilt see the fulfilment in the next world; and Allah is Witness to all that they do. [10:47] رَبِّ قَدۡ اٰتَیۡتَنِیۡ مِنَ الۡمُلۡکِ وَ عَلَّمۡتَنِیۡ مِنۡ تَاۡوِیۡلِ الۡاَحَادِیۡثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ۟ اَنۡتَ وَلِیّٖ فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَ الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ تَوَفَّنِیۡ مُسۡلِمًا وَّ اَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۲﴾ ‘O my Lord, Thou hast bestowed power upon me and taught me the interpretation of dreams. O Maker of the heavens and the earth, Thou art my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Let death come to me in a state of submission to Thy will and join me to the righteous.’ [12:102] Verse #2 بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَ کَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا ﴿۱۵۹﴾ Translation: On the contrary, Allah exalted him to Himself. And Allah is Mighty, Wise. [4:159] Proof: This means that Jesus Christ(as) did not suffer an accursed death by dying on the cross. Instead, God exalted him to Himself. The word rafa’a here refers to a kind of death which is dignified and exalted. The same word has been used in reference to Hazrat Idrees(as) in reference to the exaltation of his status (see 19:58). Translation: Since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them. [5:118] Proof: In the whole of the Quran, the word tawaffaa means taking of the soul and leaving aside the (physical) body as mentioned in 32:12, 10:105, 4:16, 7:38, and 6:62. The same word or one of its varying formations has been used in 23 places in the Quran always in reference to death and taking of the soul. Similarly, the word tawaffee has been used in reference to death in the Ahadith, and the entire collection of Sihah Sitta (6 authentic books of Ahadith). Translation: And there is none among the People of the Book but will believe in it before his death. [4:160] Proof: This verse means that none among the various groups of the Israelites disbelieved in Jesus Christ(as) prior to his death. This leads us to the conclusion that Jesus Christ(as) travelled towards the East in search of the lost tribes of Israel and delivered his message to them. Collectively, a group from among each of the 12 tribes of Israel believed in the message of Jesus(as). He eventually reached Kashmir (present-day India) and his tomb is in Sirinagar. Read more about this here. Translation: The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. [5:76] Proof: It is clearly stated that both Jesus(as) and his mother no longer eat food as understood from the Arabic word kaanaa, which is for past tense. Just as Mary(as) no longer eats food and has died, the same applies to Jesus(as). Translation: And We did not give them bodies that ate no food [21:9] Proof: No physical body can remain without food. This is the practise of God. Why should we believe Jesus(as) to be an exception to this? Translation: And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn back on your heels? [3:145] Proof: The reasoning of this verse is as follows: If it is necessary for a Prophet to live forever in this world, then present an example of such a Prophet from the past. If Jesus(as) were considered as an exception to this, the verse will lose its meaning. Verse #8 وَ مَا جَعَلۡنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ الۡخُلۡدَ ؕ اَفَا۠ئِنۡ مِّتَّ فَہُمُ الۡخٰلِدُوۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾ Translation: We granted not everlasting life to any human being before thee. If then thou shouldst die, shall they live here for ever? [21:35] Proof: This verse explains that all people are subject to only one Way of God. No one has escaped death, nor will anyone escape death in the future. Everyone gets old and eventually dies, and Jesus Christ(as) is not an exception to this rule. Verse #9 تِلۡکَ اُمَّۃٌ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ ۚ لَہَا مَا کَسَبَتۡ وَ لَکُمۡ مَّا کَسَبۡتُمۡ ۚ وَ لَا تُسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ عَمَّا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۵﴾ Translation: Those are a people that have passed away; for them is what they earned, and for you shall be what you earn; and you shall not be questioned as to what they did. [2:135] Proof: All Prophets constitute a group that has passed away. Translation: And has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live. [19:32] Proof: If Jesus(as) never died, it means that he is obliged to continue to offer prayers and pay the Zakat. However, as he is in heaven, he cannot give Zakaat and cannot encourage others to give Zakaat or to offer the kind of prayers he used to offer while on earth. These actions relate to a physical earthly body and cannot continue in heaven.

Very informative video. Never seen anyone explaining Foreign policy with respect to Quran and Islamic Teachings. Indeed these are very good suggestion for making foreign policy. As a Islamic country, first of all Pakistan should form its foreign policy according to Islam but i don't think Pakistan can make such foreign policies at this time when American influence on Pakistan is on its peak. We can only hope for the best.

First i would like to say , its a great video regarding the independence of Baltistan , and second of all , there must be some correction required , first the person who supported Shahzada Mata in his Unpleasant days was his Wife known as Chini khonza , she came all across from Singapore , and married to Shahzada Mata Ul Mulk , she used Print Media , to support his husband , which later brought immense pressure on the state , to release him and secondly his elder brother , who send him to skardu for the sake of ISLAMIC jihad , and later after Conquest of Skardu by Chitral Body Guard , brought him in his nervousness condition , thought he would get rid of the throne , and will be later given to his younger brother Muta , by the locals , so he also supported state , to bring him behind the bars , Source Dawn Newspaper

There are so many events , especially to be quoted , how brothers betrayed each other for the sake of Throne, i have found many stories , in the book Called , Relief of Chitral written by Major General Sir George John , here he clearly emphasize , brotherhood Politics , for the throne , and truly speaking it is so interesting to read , the throne Politics , the situation after the dead of His Highness Aman Ul Mulk , @@Iftikhar_ul_mulk

The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, surpassed all other Prophets in all noble traits-purity of heart, clear conviction, chastity, modesty, veracity, fairness, trust, and love and devotion to God-and he was the best, most complete, the most exalted, most distinct, and purest of all the Prophets. That is why, of all the Prophets, the Holy Prophet(sa) was blessed the most by God with the perfume of special perfections. His heart was more magnanimous, more pure, more innocent, more enlightened and more loving than anyone before or after him. That is why it [his heart] was deemed fit to receive the divine revelation that is more powerful, more complete, more exalted, and more perfect than all the past or future revelations, and is the biggest and widest mirror to manifest the divine attributes.
