This is very cute but if you really want to share your pattern with your viewers you would have written the pattern on top on 1 of the corners and not speedup the video. It's a shame and it was a waste of my time because it didn't make sense and I couldn't follow you. And I'm able to follow a subscriber from another country and doesn't speak English but her video is up close and has the pattern written on top of 1 of the corners. Now that's a subscriber that's wants to share her pattern with her viewers.

Hi Norma, I have the written pattern available on my Etsy shop. I made this video 2 years ago when I first started making videos so I apologise if it's too sped up for you but you're more than welcome to grab the pattern from my Etsy which I only popped on there last month. Happy crocheting!

Not sure after you add or increase one are they all single crochets around so then in that row you'd have 13 stitches? Beginner crocheter so not sure....row 3 then would have ? row 4?
@MumsyMakesCrochet
@MumsyMakesCrochet 20 күн бұрын
Hi! So you’ll be repeating the increase. Row 2 you’ll be increasing in every stitch. Then row 3 you’ll be increasing in the first stitch then 1 stitch in the next, then increasing in the next stitch and 1 stitch in the next. Does that make sense? I have the written pattern which might make it easier to follow along with on my Etsy 🥰

@@MumsyMakesCrochet I am actually American, born and raised in Vermont (north east of the US) but married a Scotsman and moved over here 29 years ago. Scotland is even more beautiful than the pics show (something about the air quality). If you ever get the opportunity, it is so worth the time to visit. If you are in the US, it is cheaper than you think for the flight. I can fly round trip from Edinburgh to Boston for about $550. It costs more to fly from Boston down to Florida, which seems so strange to me. While I miss my family, I am lucky to go home nice a year - that is when I stock up on yarn as it is so expensive over here, but I just cannot imagine living anywhere else. I was back in the US visiting family and friends last month so brought home about 100 skeins of yarn, so am excited at all the various possibilities that I can create in the coming year. The only drawback in the summer here are all the midges (little tiny flying, biting insects). They are so tiny that you don’t realise they are biting you until they have flown away and you begin scratching. They are awful “wee beasties”. But even with them, it is still worth the visit or in my case, the move lol. We have great craft markets over here from Easter until late fall and then opening again for a few weeks in the run up to Christmas. So, if you come for a visit you could even get some new ideas and inspirations for your markets too. Nessie (the loch ness monster) is one of my best Sellers as are the highland cows, puffins and otters…we get so many tourists that anything Scottish seems to sell well. I wish I had the artistic ability to paint, the views are so spectacular that it is a painter’s paradise, but sadly I just have no ability when it comes to that talent. Hubby is a great photographer, it is a hobby, and is getting ready for early retirement, so as we have more time he is photographing more wildlife and the scenic views, so I am turning the phots into blank greeting cards, note cards, calendars, etc. He is always amazed that people spend their money on his photos as he doesn’t think his pics are anything special and I understand as I am shocked still when someone buys one of my crocheted items lol. This week I want to make your little frog but I have 6 big basking sharks I need to complete as well as some sheep in various sizes. Anyway, I highly recommend a visit to Scotland, you will fall in love with the place. 💖

@@shelleysmith4017 Wow! I'm originally from Hampshire in England and moved 100 miles to Wales and thought that was a big move! I think with FaceTime these day's it's not quite as difficult moving somewhere new which is good. I still see my family a couple of times a year which seems crazy as we're such a close family. I can't believe it's that cheap to fly from Edinburgh to Boston. I thought it would be in the thousands. I haven't tried making highland cows or a Nessie yet! Might have to give those a go! Definitely going to have to book a little va-kay to Scotland with the tiddlywinks.
