4-digit smallest number = 1000 = 4,6,8 and 10 ka Lcm = 120 = 120) 1000(8 = 1000-960 = 40 = when divided by 120 the remainder is 40 , smallest 4- digit exactly divisible by 120 = Lcm of 4,6,8 and 10 = 1000 + ( 120 - 40 ) = 1000 + 80 = 1080 , Hence required smallest 4- digit number = 1080 answer

16,24 and 36 ka Lcm = leave the remainder is 4 in each case = 16-4 = 12, 24-4 = 20 and 36-4 = 32 next 12, 20 and 32 ka Lcm = 2×2×2×2×2×3×5 = 480 , largest 4- digit number = 9999, divide 9999 by 480 we get remainder = 399, Greatest 4-digit number divisible by 480 = 9999 - 399 = 9600 answer

The smallest number exactly divisible by 6,8 and 12 is their Lcm of 6,8,12 is 2×2×2×3, But smallest three digit number = 100 now, divide 100 by 24, number just greater than 100 (as we require 3-digit number) and exactly divisible by 24 = 100 + (24 - 4 ) = 120, Hence required number is 120 answer

6,8 and 12 ka Highest common factor is 2 and 6,8 and 12 ka lowest common factor is 24 +5 = 29
