Never cared much for this guy, but I've just heard this arrogant second rate presenter basically call Luke Littler (darts player) fat on breakfast TV. Disgusting behaviour from a middle aged man to a young talented person.

Meraviglioso! I think this is the first I've really heard him speak, particularly about music. Lovely!! I was a fan of Japan's Tin Drum album (age/location made it difficult to hear their earlier and later individual work, but I continued to listen to it over the decades). My husband became a fan of Porcupine Tree last year, but I didn't realise the connection. Sadly my husband passed away suddenly and as I've delved deeper into Japan and the other projects they all did, I'm sorry not to be able to share it with him. Still, I watch and listen and can still imagine sharing it with him.

The battle of losecote field also probably also happened in the Fens as i have evidence of this, i want someone to have a look at Hornfield in Tydd st Giles/Tydd St Mary, where a Willoughby's corner is and Thomas De La launde had a manor hall there The Cambs Lincs border runs beside the field

Two important points seem to be left out from all podcasts and books or articles and which appear in the book : " The Dambusters" 1 As a last ditch effort seeing all the high command was refusing to go along the inventor , through a high placed friend, managed to get the plan directly to Winston Churchill who approved it after asking only one question. How many planes would be involved? 2 the second planes bomb which flew over the dam took out the 2 german firing positions when it exploded. Both of these were much more detailed in the book which said that the inventor who was totally devastated by the death of almost half of the aviators .

I read years ago the more contemporary books such as enemy coast ahead about this and its amazing how much new information can be found about this. The negative reviews of the raid seem to be by people who don't actually have a sufficient level of knowledge but are willing to repeat cheap shots to be clever.

Hi Thomas, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post such a lovely comment about our interview with Evan. He was an absolute pleasure to interview - a real gentleman. It's great that you were able to pay Huddersfield a visit & appreciate how beautiful the area is! Hopefully you will be able to pay us a visit again soon. If you do come again it might be worth having a look to see if there are any music concerts taking place at the University that you could come to whilst you are here and most of them are free to attend too!

There is a very easy way to do this. There are several paths to 1 as the only correct answer. But this is the easiest. For those long and difficult equations we normally break them into segments. Splitting this terribly complicated equation into segments, is a method that is INCONTROVERTIBLE. [Look for explicit operators not enclosed in brackets, then put brackets around each segment.] There is only the divisor. This simplifies and clarifies this long and tedious equation. i.e. 8 / 2(2+2) -> [8] / [2(2+2)] Now we clearly see it is 8 / 8 = 1 For people who do not understand parenthesis, this avoids the silly question of what to do 1st.
