Does increasing the length of the shaft by half an inch affect the lie angle? Here’s weird one for you. I choke down on my irons by about half in to an inch (all my clubs actually) and the fitter saw this. So he fit me for irons half inch over and one degree upright instead of two. Fitter says one degree is fine with the increased length of shaft. If we had stayed at standard length he would have placed me at 2 degrees upright. Does this make sense to you or was I scammed? I was hitting em straight and true and far when we using the half inch over, 1 degree upright. My shots were going too much left with standard length and 2 up. Thanks.

My shaft has specs setting out stiffness at butt, mid and tip (267, 7, and 28). Can I use these figures to find out whether the kick point is high or not?

I've been playing Titliest drivers and fairway clubs for 30+ years, and started playing with their TSR2 hybrids last year. What a positive change that was and helped lower my index by 2. I always played my long irons well, but these hybrids are more consistent and easier to hit out of the rough.

I would contest your thought that the HL is aimed at high handicappers, I have seen a lot of feedback from very low single figure players that game the HL's and absolutely love them, it's wrong to pigeon hole clubs into handicap brackets, it's very much dependant on the player and what they feel.

I got 2 Callaway drivers: Epic Max trade in for my Ping G400 and Ping 3 wood. And, a Big Bertha 23 for $150. GREAT buys! I'm lefty so clubs are somewhat hard to find. Plus I wanted an upgrade in tech from my old Ping.

I think they're just plain ugly, to begin with. I would buy the XL Zipcore over these clubs, any day of the week. They look like a bag full of bizarre hybrids.

@@tonydamiani8029 True....but I can't wrap my head around irons that look like a hybrid. My guess is there is a downside to using these types of clubs....as irons. | will be buying the XL zipcore irons, as they seem like a great deal for someone with mid lvl handicap. My guess is that the design makes it hard to intentionally shape shots....as is also the case with hybrids. You can't just open or close the face. You have to swing in or out to shape a shot properly....cutting across the face of the ball as you hit.

Most amateurs jyst want to hit a straight ball and that will lower scores. Checked the size of a 9 iron vs a Ping g425. Other than the top line being bigger they are virtually the same and the "hybrid" back isn't even visible at address.

How is hitting it yourself a viable measuring method? Did you also analyze attack angle, left right etc?

The correct plane of the downswing is lower/shallower so this machine is only good for the backswing surely.

This is in fact an anti-slice driver. It works. I’m a horrific slicer but the SFT has been a tremendously improved my ability to hit a draw. Believe the hype. The G425 SFT is the real deal.

The chrome on these club is very low quality. I hit the 9 iron 6 times and there were ball marks on the face and scratches on the sole that wouldn't come out. After 6 hits on grass?? I sent them back.
