Nice to know how to solve Quadratic equations on the TI-nspire CX. But if TI wants you to spend so much money on it don't you think they ought to know what CX stands for in the first place, especially if they care so much? Nobody in Dallas could tell me. Do you or any of your viewers know? tips and tricks for the nspire CX II CAS. Thats not how the question come up on most homework and tests. They usually give you coordinates that pass through a certain point and then they want you to solve. This doesn't help anything.

You can just use the solve function and type in the equation, or just the polynomials that are being multiplied

The solve() function only works on the Nspire models equipped with Computer Algebra System (CAS). This is a non-CAS calculator. However, there is a version called CX CAS that does include this function.

@@oof4dayz its hella annoying when the cas can do everything I already use it for, and anything im going to need it to do in the future. Stuck with the cx 2 rn

@@rumble9920 Yeah, I really made sure not to make that mistake and spent the extra $10 for the CX II CAS model. I think there is something on ndless (a TI-Nspire jailbreak) that can enable CAS on non-CAS Nspire calculators, but I'm not 100% sure if it works because my calculator comes with CAS out of the box.
