Do you have any suggestions on anyone who wants to do pop up camping full time
@AdventuresinPopUps2 ай бұрын
@@kandacegreer-e9e We don’t have experience full time, but I know some people do. Basically, make sure you are prepared for all weather. If you are in a cold location, you might go through a lot of propane in winter. It can absolutely be done. I would look into others who have done it.

Remember--Righty Tighty and Lefty Loosie....Just another Note, when Top is Lifted to Max Limit, measure your Lifting Posts-length and cut yourself 4--2z2's and slip wooden post right in next to Metal Post, secure them to metal post with string or Twist ties, then lower your top just a Tad to keep weight off Cables and Pulleys. This came from a Dealer that sold many of these Campers, his son was a friend of mine... This will also Stabilize Roof....

I use to Own one almost like this--mine was Swinger Model as Kitchen could swing out. I installed a small window unit Air Cond. on Bumper end, would freeze you out...Just a Note, make sure that all Entry Ways around Camper are Secure as Mice or Rats can Destroy inside, I saw this done on a New one, the guy backed his to back side of property and just mowed around it. He opened it up a year later and Inside was Destroyed and Mice Urine would knock you down...

Rachel, have you considered using a drawstring instead of elastic? I used to work for a shop in Southern California that made Renaissance Fair costumes and instead of elastic at the bottom of the legs and at the waistline, we used a sturdy cotton drawstring. Maybe that could work for your issue. It's be interested to hear your thoughts or see how it worked for you.
@AdventuresinPopUps3 ай бұрын
@@Macros1971 hmm, interesting idea. But it came with elastic, so I would have less fabric to work with by removing elastic and folding the edges over for a drawstring. 🤔
@chetjudyadams92783 ай бұрын
Why not add a center accent fabric to give you the length you need?
@AdventuresinPopUps3 ай бұрын
@@chetjudyadams9278 hmm, I was just thinking similarly, wondering if it would be weird to add a stripe of the couch color or something.
