Was this event SUNY (fris) B Day 5/7/83 (as seen 4:34) or was it a different event? I remember SUNY fris B Day but not SUNY-Binghamton Arts Festival...

You're welcome! I'll be posting more videos from that night as soon as I put them together. I, too, wish I could have gone back for Saturday's showings. I made the three hour trip from the Hudson Valley Friday, but due to business obligations had to go back Saturday morning. After I got home I realized I missed one of the projections - Vulnus - at 19 Chenango Street in the north pedestrian overpass, according to the map. A very minimalistic piece, certainly not on the same scale as the building projections, but one I would've liked to have seen. I also missed the Arctic Siberian Sound Journey. I'll have to pay more attention next year.

I've watched GeneFree video productions over the years in shear amazement. Here again I fell in head first and was not disappointed. This installment has nothing to do with the current pandemic yet both characters reflect exactly how I feel! Bravo 👏

Wes Craven meets Monty Python? As with any offering by Mr. Panczenko, set aside your own perception of the world and prepare to take a short, contemplative dive into an oblique reality. In this latest installment, that dive is a bizarrely odd one (even by Mr. Panczenko's standards) but nonetheless engaging. The Woman, portrayed by the venerable Marcy B. Freedman, morphs brilliantly during the piece into what I can only describe as a hybrid of The Joker and Pavarotti's The Clown. Her piercing gaze and the lipstick littering her countenance drawing you in while The Baby (portrayed by creator Gene Panczenko) babbles on in a perplexing "dialogue" akin to that of the Martian characters in the campy "Mars Attacks." At the conclusion, I sat quietly in mute amazement - All the while repeatedly asking myself "What Did You Expect?" Perhaps the answer lies in the next installment?

I must admit that upon hearing of this newest work, I had some trepidations in viewing what I thought to be just another preternatural cinematic indulgence. Once it began however, I felt myself drawn into it and letting go of my own interpretations of what Art Must Be (or more accurately what it is). The grainey look of the film reminded me of the daguerreotypes of Matthew Brady and the warning at the films outset simultaneously gave me great pause. Notwithstanding I flung myself headlong into the piece and when it concluded, I sat quietly and contemplated it as this kind of esoteric art form often inspires. Many a discussion about this piece will be spawned and I suppose in that respect, that is what Art Must Be. The interjection "Bravo" would be inadequate and oddly out of place here so instead I will trust that my review will be taken in the spirit in which it was intended and eagerly await Mr. Panczenko's next milestone composition.

Thank you for your contemplative and erudite review of my video. It's nice to see that someone out there can look beyond the superficiality and "gets it."

Bad enough it was tossed, I just hope it was waste and not a pet. It didn't seem light when the bag hit the ground at that speed.

I reported it to the police. They said there wasn't much they could do without the license plate number. I've since gotten a higher resolution dash cam.

They are all DigiTech JamMan Express pedals with JamSync. You connect them together with 1/8" TRSM cables and then you can use it as a multi-channel looper.

Final verdict: The FAA investigated, along with the Yorktown Police Dept, and searched the area. Nothing was found. The FAA did not have any record any aircraft having flight plans over this area. File this one under "Unknown."

An enthralling journey into the fascinating world of skewed reality that allows the viewer to interject their own interpretation. The compelling theme and haunting sound track and visual artistry entice you to watch it again and again. Well done. Nice typewriter too.

It looks like KZbin's compression can't handle all of the movement, hence the artifacting. I'll try to work out a better quality post. In the meantime just enjoy the music.
