This started off as a story about my carnival days, I told Jim we had slivers of soap to wash our long hair with, and he thought that was great. I’m Joe, Jim’s drummer at the time, good to hear this old shit ! Thanks for posting!

We sure were drunk when we were doing those background vocals…. And pardon my drumming, Fatso made me do it.

The Trees had the balls to cover an odd song like this (odd in a good way), and the MASSIVE balls to cover Hendrix (Love or Confusion), and pull it off. Great, great band.

His songs "Disco Dust" with Hetfield and "Around The Sun" (kinda Pink Floydian) are pretty good off the album...

Why are these guys not getting recognition they deserve? First album is epic, they bring on the best drummer of all time for second album, Goss collaborates with the best of the best... WTF? Now we are losing the band members, never kew Mark Lanegan was such a good singer, RIP.

They performed at Pukkelpop after the release of Rated R And played 2 (then) unknown songs: God Is Radio & Go w th Flow. A little heavier And faster. Had it on some sort of old skool pc format 🤦‍♂️ got lost never found it again online. Good now, but still Feels like a loss. 1st time hearing it, live, powerful, young…

this song is like the crispy part of a bottom sirloin. So flavorful and savory, but heavy and dark. Can't get enough.

This is just a theory, i dont expect anybody to agree with me, but I noticed theres some songs that changed after Nick Oliveri left…if you look at the song credits for “God Is In the Radio” Nick Oliveri & Josh Homme wrote this song, and this version came out in 2005 (Nick got fired in 2004 I believe) again i just noticed songs like “Song for the Dead”, “Millionaire”, & “God Is In the Radio” have changed…not just because of Nick tho just saying! And obviously songs like “Gonna Leave You” & “Another Love Song” are not commonly played because Nick left.
