@Wind0-n8z i turned on fsr performance and use auto settings. i left all the amd software settings or anything else to default and i never update the windows since i bought this device

​@@kennydptech You have never updated Windows? Why this decision? I see a lot of people saying that Windows updates, Amory Crate, Adrenaline, My Asus are essential before starting to install games and play because it can cause a lot of malfunctions later.

As far as I know the Ally X hasn’t had that issue, only the first generation. But yes they fixed the issue by allowing us to manually adjust the fan.

I think that the models that were marketed 1 year ago and those of today are not the same, as someone explained it was like prototypes the first models. Because I just got the Z1 Extreme and I was very surprised, there is practically nothing to do before being able to play. I simply did the updates, from MyAsus which was already installed, Microsoft Store, Windows 24/2 no problem with, Armory crate and Adrenaline. It was rather fast. And when I watch tutorials from 1 year ago that explain how to adjust the Rog Ally I often realized that some options that youtubers advised to activate were already activated by default unlike before. Which means that they really improved the PC. So I think the fans have already been adjusted correctly to avoid this problem when opening the box. Because when I look, the Asus update tracking has made the PC smoother in navigation, everything seems to be already installed correctly. This is the feeling I have had using it for 2 days.

@ I have ally X so I don’t mess with the fan curve, but I’ve been thinking about it but not needed for me since it’s good as it is. But if you end up getting the 2nd gen ally or 1st gen I would do adjust based off experience, so once the ally starts to reach temperature above 50c i would start at 25 to 40 percent again depending on game but once you reach 65c I would do 70 to 75 percent, if it reached 80c I would go with 85 percent and 90c to 100c I would go for 100 percent. If the game isn’t demanding just use the default speeds

@Wind0-n8z um yeah that’s usually how it goes with first gen, the z1 extreme and ally X are the way to go in my opinion since it’s been optimized by manufacturer to avoid big issues such as sd card issues and other ones

tahun depan kemungkinan eranya z2 extreme, tapi harganya pasti belasan juta. kalau perbedaan performanya ga jauh, ally z1 extreme lebih worth di harga 7jt aja

@yolwa when you started the game in your playstation, did you register an account with the publisher? If you did, you should log with those credentials on pc and it should pull your psn progress
