Mines leaks oil out of the tensioner does the bike have to be at top dead center before I change it?

Same issue with crf 450 17 however only makes the rattle when revved? Still could be this?

Hey!!! Yes my bike does same thing and same noise. Doesn’t do it all the time but when it starts it seems to stay. But a bigger question is how you got a 2017 crf450r with electric start? I thought 2018 was first year for electric start. Thanks for the fix though definitely the issue with my 18.

Put a new OEM cam chain on My '03 KTM 250EXC 4 stroke with 300 hours and it made those same noises go away. It battery starts better and when you shut it down it sounds better and when you kick start it, it's easier. It howls less when going down the road in 6th.

Hey I really need some help. I have a 2020 crf250r everytime I let off the throttle I get this friction skimming sound like something is spinning and rubbing against something. It goes away immediately when I pull in the clutch. And when I try to recreate the sound when i put it on a stand with no load the sound isn't really there. You kind of hear a noise but it's way more quiet and might be something else even or normal. But when I ride the noise is there. It's the only video on my channel if you want to hear the noise. I'm guessing like a countershaft bearing possibly?

Clutch rubbing on the inside of the case. Check for ware marks

I have a 2015 crf250r with 381 hours on it. It still runs strong, but I have shimmed the valves twice now. It can't possibly last much longer so I'll be rebuilding it this week.

Nice gemmi looks tough. That was the first drive simple street tune. It dro fuel pressure in forth will get it running well soon. Yea I was a pussy hitting the brake!
