I figured out the 5 boxes mystery on the right HUD; that's definitely for the Energy Attacks (Jumping, Invisibility, Shield, Freeze, Mine). When Grasshopper does her big jump over the building she loses a green box. Bam Bam/Slam loses a green energy box in LA but I'm not sure why (mine maybe), & Grasshopper also initiates Invisibility in Paris & if you slow down that moment (in the 2nd video I look over) you can see 2 green boxes becomes 1, before the video cuts to something else. So by process of elimination the Car Key symbols on the left side of HUD would represent Lives Remaining

I really like how Oz's idolisation of this sleazy, nasty man really shows the warped view some people develop of criminals. Oz seems to think he was some kind of saintly community-loving figure with his rose-tinted glasses on. When we see the man in reality he's just a grimy mobster doing all the horrid things grimy mobsters do.

While the show makes a point to remind us Rex is a bad guy (I.e. his offer to help Francis with “letting go” of Oz), I did find it endearing that he saw how she was suffering and did his best to offer help for the situation, albeit in a dark twisted way.

This show displays sociopathic reasoning so well, it's like the guy genuinely believes he's doing right by her with the options of "turn this monster into your monster...but if you don't have the stomach for it I can remove him from your life."
