Nice job ! How do you match the correct P10 connector with the triangle clues ?
@jasonr25903 жыл бұрын
The triangle clues are based on a geologic Ternary Diagram where you make three lines meet, but it has proved to be a little too difficult and I need to change that puzzle moving forward.

@@jasonr2590 Thanks for the awnser. I see the litle bit outside the triangle say which line to follow it's clever. If you have a screen where we can manage to see how they would find how they pick a row it would be nice. Great jobs again anyway.

Awesome build! From the looks of the layout and code it looks as though the switch passcode is hardwired. Do you think having a randomized or even a multi-scenario bomb would exceed the limits of the Arduino GPIO pins?
@jasonr25905 жыл бұрын
Most of the switches on the left side of the board are hard wired, so they're unable to be changed. I could add a multi plexer to reduce the number of pins needed on the Mega and wire most of the connections, but this was planned as a one-off. In the future, I might try and be more flexible and plan for additional scenarios. Thanks for checking it out!

fantastic job! this looks like a lot of fun. You can't beat physical switches/dials/buttons when it comes to that satisfying 'click'. how did you print or manufacture the attachment surface? some of those switches take a bit of force to move, keypads can be abused, and it looks pretty solid
@jasonr25905 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The surface is 1/8" birch plywood that was fit together and then glued in place. There were a couple of test fittings, as seen in the photo album. The wood was painted in a metallic silver paint, masked to prevent burn marks, engraved, then cut.

What are the dimensions of your table for the CNC?
@jasonr25905 жыл бұрын
This one is about 30"x30". I wanted to make sure that I could have a working bed of at least 24"x24" without pushing too close to the ends.
@Vondarius5 жыл бұрын
@@jasonr2590 Thank you for the reply. Interestingly enough when I input 24x24 in the jscalc.io page it indicates the table dimensions should be no less than 34.65 x 34.65? What am I missing?
@jasonr25905 жыл бұрын
@@Vondarius The actual size of the wood table is 36"x36" and the inside dimension of the conduit frame is 30"x30". You lose a couple inches of travel in the X and Y due to the gantry and placement of the drill head, so that brings it closer to 24"x24" of workable space. Hope that helps!

I purchased this. There are a few manufacturers and the product goes by a couple of names. Try searching for SpectraPly Panels or Frogblanks.
