Did you get tired by the end or was it a tyre problem with overheated tyres or something.

Yes there is tyre wear and near the end there the grip fades away in the high-g portions of the track. There is a tyre wear and heat gauge to the right of the of the speedo.

They are Proline Street Fighters. They are great on tarmac, and slippy (drifty) on flat grass. Not good on dirt though.
